A shakeout in the Ethereum's Foundation which was supposed to be for the growth of the ecosystem had been met positively (according to some analysts) by the market. Vitalik's recent proposals to boost the L1 scalability seems good for speculators as well. Would these moves bring ETH back to 4K level? I don't know.

I would not be too optimistic if this is UK or the EU. I mean these regions are probably the most notorious when it come to regulations. I don't expect developers to be as free to innovate as they want it to be. It will probably be the tech giants that will dominate the crypto market there.

If in case it will be approved, what do you guys think will happen to the development of Dogecoin blockchain? We all know that the first ones left already but there are still active devs that kind of maintains it. Will some prominent people or group try to take over?

With CL's first leg already over, focus now is on the Europa League. Your bets are in yet?

Tottenham are understandably the huge favorite @1.30 against Bodo/Glimt @8.80. The only reason I see that the home team will lose this game is if they play with overconfidence.

Man United currently the underdog @3.85 while Bilbao @2.10. I have no idea how this will turn out but this will most likely produce more drama and excitement.

What a great game played by Barca and Inter but an unfortunate one for Sommer ;D Regardless of the team you support here, you'll appreciate how both teams fought. Different approach to the game but both were effective in scoring goals. I cannot wait for the second game which could be decided by a single goal or a penalty shootout.

Beating PSG at home in the UCL isn't for all English clubs.
PSG beat Arsenal for the first time in a European competition! It's making history...
And it's a great performance from PSG but more goals were needed to crown it up.
But the mission is not yet finished... Enrique still assigned the players to defend world peace again next week on Wednesday :)
To be fair, it was a good performance from Arsenal as well. Goalkeepers from both teams did well to keep the score low which must have been frustrating for a lot of bettors ;D Arsenal attacked more but they're probably the luckier side after the final whistle. It could have been 0-2 or 0-3 if not for the woodwork/crossbar.

Speculation, this is the main reason why crypto trading and investing are also considered as gambling. Let's face it, many people buy some tokens without a strategy while thinking it would pump. Risk management or calculated risk is what separated investing and trading from gambling but that's not being followed by most.

Well, it's a 'legitimate' way to earn some money ;D Although it's more likely that they do not have the network to wash/clean those stolen crypto unlike the Lazarus group, the skeptic in me also says it could be one of their sneaky ways to steal money from investors.

Can the judge issue a sentence that's more than the maximum? As I understand from the article, he could be jailed for up to 30 years only or is that per charge? The victims should probably go to their lawmakers to propose changes to laws against these crimes.

I'm curious whether next season they will be successful again or if there will be another club that will make a surprise next season.
Tough to tell at this point. City will always be up for a challenge as usual while Arsenal is still unpredictable. Chelsea might finally get their act together and challenge for the title properly. The outlier would be Newcastle because they have the money. Man United? I guess it depends on how they move in the offseason.
But compared to Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City. I'm more curious about what we will be able to see next season with Man United, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham. I am very curious about what the teams I mentioned will show. But Chelsea should be getting better. because their young players are now starting to have more experience and can become more confident next season. but about MU I'm really curious whether there will be a big change in squad depth there? I'm really curious.
MU will probably end up with the most transfers in the off season. If only Amorim could get his way, I think he'll replace most of the players. I mean nobody is safe except maybe for Maguire who has done well on both ends and Fernandes. Onana had shown some brilliance on some occasions but it's an open secret that MU is looking for a new goalkeeper.

lots of people plan their whole lives but if just one thing goes the wrong way they tend to get depressed and feel really down and hopeless the truth is that life will always be unpredictable 9 things out of 10 may turn the way you want to but there is always one thing that will not go well and that should be okay we should remain strong willed and we can overcome any adversity thrown our way
You must always have a backup plan for everything. Both in finances, work and even other things. And therefore I think the challenge today is that we have to be versatile people. We must have many skills that can be utilized to create opportunities for us to continue to be people who can work in all the fields needed on time. Being multitalented will be very helpful for our survival. And if we are currently working, outside of working hours we have to look for additional work to increase our income. Or we can also hone other skills outside our current field just in case. Competition in all fields is currently increasingly fierce. So, no matter what, we have to be superior to other people.
Easier said than done though. The pandemic gave rise to a lot of new virtual assistants that are working from home. Many stepped up to the plate honing marketing skills that they never studied or trained from their previous work. With the increase usage or reliance in AI the past couple of years, some of these virtual assistance were quickly cut off and replaced.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What if the airdrop is gone forever?
« on: April 28, 2025, 11:39:29 PM »
I think not giving out airdrops is more problematic to the developers or project founders than the airdrop hunters. Crypto is already a tough space to compete and if a token becomes less visible to the public because of no airdrop, it might end up in the obituary in just a few weeks/months. They can pay for some influencers for sure and create temporary hype but it will only add up to the pump and dump list.

Although we're not legally allowed to use it to purchase goods and services (as a legal tender), we have no difficulty in exchanging it in our local currency. Banks have been disallowing accounts related to crypto trading before but they are more open now. At this point, the main issues with us is the local exchanges that aren't up to par yet with international exchanges and also the blocking of accounts.

Barcelona just won the Copa del Rey title by beating Real Madrid in the final. They now have the chance to win the treble this season and even have the chance to win the quadruple.

Now they are only focused on the Champions League, in La Liga they only need a few more wins which they will definitely make the most of. They may achieve great success this season.
Impressive! When was the last time this happened? I know Pep had achieved this before on a couple of occasions. After years of problems with their financials, they are back with a possible quadruple. It's still a tight race for La Liga and Inter is also a tough team to crack.
