If this forum shows up when you search for "mixtum mixer", that just means that the forum's page/thread is indexed and ranking for that keyword "mixtum mixer" as well as those phishing website which should be taken down.

That's not very effective for Google indexing. However, for backlinking purposes, it might help to some extent. Still, effective backlinking usually only works if the campaign lasts for a long period, at least a year or more, because once the signature is removed, the links disappear as well, reducing any long-term benefit.

I checked both websites, the legit and .to domain, both have sitemap.xml and robots.txt, so it's a matter if who use Google search console, or maybe just maybe, legit mixtum don't want to get indexed. I checked that their website is not indexed not a single URL.
