DeFi tokens / How do you learn about new stuffs in Web3?
« on: November 20, 2024, 02:05:59 PM »
One of the most complicating topic for me in web3 has always been the subject of lending , and mostly because, a lot of the DeFi platforms that we have look very complex, especially for new users, or people new to the topic.

I've seen a few people talk about different solutions like the obvious "go to youtube" "learn more" or even very specific ones like "Use protocols like MORPHO" Apparently, it makes the lending process more seamless.

But I think it's more effective to seek a solution on a crypto inclined platform, hence the need for this writeup.

Do you think what we currently have with USDT pegged 1:1 with the US dollar is better or are you also a part of the school of thought that thinks $USUAL approach pegging USD0 1:1 to Real-World Assets (RWA) is a better option?

DeFi tokens / Re: Who’s farming XION?
« on: November 14, 2024, 06:22:27 PM »
Even if the market wasn't green, I think there'd always be demand for projects with very good utility, as crypto users are always looking out for projects that solves their issues.

And with the work XION is doing removing barriers to entry like technical knowledge, making it easy for new users to enjoy the benefits of web3, it qualifies as a utility project.

Unfortunately I didn't get the airdrop, but I got some via pre market on my exchange.

Blockchain Technology / Re: Layer 1 Blockchain Leveraging DePIN Functions
« on: November 13, 2024, 11:42:43 AM »
The way I see it, it doesn't matter where the project is built or how it's built as long as it has real use cases, and provide solutions that cater to the needs of the average crypto user.

Going by the amount of people participating in locking BGB or USDT to get the token, I'd say I'm not the only one impressed with what these guys are building.

DeFi tokens / Re: Is USDT used in a DeFi environment?
« on: November 11, 2024, 04:37:00 PM »
Personally, I don't mind a little competition especially is a space like crypto, and like you pointed out there's concerns with the proposed investigation of tether.

I think at this point the most important reservation I have is whether this one would be sustainable, to be honest there's nothing to suggest that it would not.

Let's see how this one goes.

NFTs & Collectibles / What can we expect from Crypto and web3 in 2025?
« on: November 03, 2024, 11:16:45 AM »
As the year comes to an end I cannot help but think of the next trend for the new year, and if the one for this year goes extinct.

The NFT trend a couple years back comes to mind. It's hard to believe that people would actually get over it, although there are still a few, like RoOLZ that make anime-themed NFTs available in its app, and even rewards users with $GODL tokens based on engagement and achievements.

I think we might see a comeback for NFT related projects, next year, even though I know we might still see a lot of hype around TON related projects following the success of projects like NOT and DOGS.

Solana Forum / Re: Maximizing SOL Rewards with Liquid Staking.

All signs point to a strong finish for SOL this year, hopefully this happens and is carried on well into next year.

History suggests that they cannot be trusted, but the same history has proven that Trump does well with crypto. I don't know if this helps.

As a gamer, one of the biggest sellers for Web3 that attracted me was the ability to get real time rewards for the time I spent playing the game.

Now that I've been in the space a lot longer, I look out for other things aside earning a little more, and a good example of this would be when I decided to look at LOA because they gave accessibility to different ecosystems, which basically means I can engage the game without being restricted to a single network.

This is the investor in me, but of course the gamer in me also appreciates the gameplay of Legends of Arcadia, or LOA like other gamers like to call it, and I'd like to know if there are other PVP or PVE games like LOA.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: If Bitcoin collapses, will Altcoins too?

The way the crypto ecosystem is set up, altcoins would fall as well, because a lot of depends on the actions of BTC for momentum either upward or downward.

Not really to be honest, but my approach with airdrops like these is to take what I get and move to the next.

This guy has no limits and this is exciting news for TRX and it's ecosystem. Even for crypto generally.

It would take some time, yes, but it does look like mass adoption is ineveitable. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.
