This era people don't depend on certificate,some people afford it just to bear the name graduates,it is very important as a human being to atleast have one skill or more than because it makes you not to hungry while still waiting for the big future,am not classifying that school is not important it is,but we should try to be creative in our own way,we don't want to be dependent.

Yeah, I get it, but not everyone has the chance to learn new skills or be creative. Some people don’t have the money, time, or support to make it happen. Skills are important, but we should also try to make it easier for everyone to learn and grow, so no one gets left behind.

I concur with this. I once had a friend who was a very intelligent person but he lacked the finance to learn a skill he so passionately wanted to learn, he tried to get help from friends and family financially but the money he realized wasn't even enough for him to feed talk of less learning a skill and this friend of mine was a graduate. So learning a skill is not the issue here, because almost everyone want to learn a skill but most persons are not financially capable to actualize this.

When it comes to acquiring a skill it's good that graduates acquire skills but the most important thing is having the financial leverage to setting up a business based on the kind of skill that you have been able to acquire , The problem has always been able to set up a business because in the harsh economy that we find ourselves it's not easy for any graduate with out job to come up with the finance to set up a business that will be of benefit to them self's

You are completely right, we don’t have to discourage people not also decline certificate too, because not all people is opportune to learn skills, yes we know that everyone is given a gift or talent while coming on earth but the talent might also be through education, I didn’t mean that the poster mean we shouldn’t take our education seriously and also we might get to learn through education and through our certificate Because it might take us to another new place. So any one we are opportune to have, we should take it serious and be optimistic about it.

This is one of the biggest mistakes people make. This time is not a time to depend on certificate. There are some countries that no longer care about certificate in their choice of employment they employ those who have the strength to work. There are alot of graduates who have the potential to work and earn huge from their physical strength but they still wait for certificate to find them a job that's not wise.

It's better to be a Second Class or Third Class graduate with proficiency in a skill, than to be a First Class graduate without a skill. The country has gotten to the point even the First Class graduate have become can drivers, some are even begging for alms. So let's all be wise and do  what needs to be done which is learning a skill, No skill is small or useless, every skill matters

Job opportunity in my country is really scarce, although you can easily get underpaid jobs but it will just be a waste of time because after you calculate your transportation to and fro from your home to your office, you will discover that you are spending all the salary on transportation and probably you would be left with just 10% of the salary. To get a well paying job is scarce herehere but I believe in some other country, it's quite easy to get well paying job but regardless, people should not just depend on their degree unless they already have a back that Is waiting to employ them after graduation.

There are things that one does not see in employment services even when one assumes that employment is sufficient. Indeed, many of the available jobs do not give such results which should be commended each and every day efforts and time. To those who do it, they know very well what it is like to leave early in the morning, only to return home very late in the night, only to find out to their dismay that what is remained in the wallet is very little. From there arises the realisation that something is wrong, either with the manner in which income is obtained or with the way value of work is perceived. I believe that the decision of not turning into a one way street, is rational, not because the world wants more, but because there must be an answer as to what can successfully sustain life.

It's quite clear that a degree certificate is no longer enough for one to be successful in life. Skills are much needed when certificates don't provide a job. Skills learned will be of help, for the person to fall back on, to help them in any society or environment they find themselves to be catering for themselves through the jobs they do for people through their skills learned.
