The social media is having a significant impact on the society and this could come in forms of the positive ones and the negative ones as the case may be, that is why in the society, we need the government to help impact on the peoples life and make life affordable so that everyone will be having every opportunity of making it right, also, parents have their own quota as well to play in ensuring that their wards in the society receives the intended positive ideology and impressions with the use of social media.

I will say this that social media is a vast community with people from different walks of life, belief, culture etc coming together to share their their views and perspective about things happening around them and the world. Businesses have survived as a result of social media, technologies have been created just from the inspiration of some social media engagements. Lot's of couples got to know themselves as a result of their social media mutuals,many people have gotten Jobs offer through the media and lots more.

There are lots of benefits attached but we should not forget that it also have its own demerits as well but it would better one takes advantage of the benefits to their own advantage as it lasts.

Well, there are many downsides to these social media platforms, and we know that, but the benefits are way more than its downsides. Easier communication, easier relaying of messages, advertising became way easier than it is decades ago. Social Media really changed the business scope of the world compared to how it was years ago. Businesses now thrive on social media like it already existed before and to be frank, the social media draws services to our doorsteps with ease rather than taking is out to source for it.

These days, I prefer sourcing for things online than going out to get engaged when I can just source for a product and order it via social media for my services and make good use of my time for other activities.

We ourselves should be more aware of the positive effects of social media and especially in influencing children. In order to counter the negative effects, social awareness should be observed on the activities of the family and a sense of responsibility should be awakened on the government of a country as a whole. The moment we begin to realize the effect of the use of social media is getting pout of hands from the family before getting to the society at large, then we have to look for ways through which we can curb all these, especially on the young ones, we have to realized that social media is not going to be the most impactful medium through which learning and getting exposure could be achieve, but at least from our own, we have to start achieving something from somewhere without relying on the use of social media all times.

I totally agree with you here. Social media is not bad at all, the world got to this stage it is with social media playing a vital role in communication and information dissemination.  We all know everything in life has its own pros and cons which the social media is not left out. As for the kids, they can be controlled to not have access to those channels or information you find not worth their hearing or seeing. It is something one can control as you have said and there is no big deal about it because it lies within the capacity of the individual to control whatever they deem fit not worth it.
