But as technology advance and in recent developments, the social media which is a very vast and a reliable means to pass information across the globe with no stress. Any where, anytime, one can easily pass information across at his/her own comfort zone.

I will say that social media is an online platform that allows different people from different parts of the world to interact and easily shear information across to each other.
In our modern day, there is a well known phrase, which is; "Information  is power", and I agree to that because with the aid of information, we can know what is going on in our society at large....
Knowing fully well that the social media helps us to spread information, people tend to use this platform to shear information that will affect others negatively or positively.
Negative impact of information can cause damage and can traumatize people, which can cause disaster and also death .So we advise that one should use the social media positively...

Well, you are right but you should also know we are in a modernized world where most of the kids are teaching their parents to grow wide and exposed, even some old people and some illiterates are working so hard to have an Android phones even if they don't know anything it , they believe they will learn because learning never stop.

Using modern technology has advantages as well as many disadvantages but if we use it according to rules then all harmful issues can be avoided. In the present era its use is considered as a powerful medium where everyone can carry out various activities of information sharing and communication, entertainment. However, in this world the young children become more addicted due to which they have to suffer a lot in their lives. I want to prevent my children from this. Social media is useful, but also a huge distraction. Sometimes, I find myself wasting hours on it with something important task remaining in to-do. As result, I regret soon after, so as a solution I bookmarked important handles and go there directly instead of surfing timeline, timeline which is endless sea of mostly useless stuff, and somehow this useless stuff seems useful at particular moment when you are surfing.

Also, I get easily overwhelmed hence social media is not for me. I deleted Facebook account long ago, Twitter too but I figured need of it and created one later on, I had created first Twitter account back in 2013 so kinda regretted deleting it. Instagram seems to be filled with fake stuff, for lack of better word, created one and deleted soon after.

I like surfing Reddit when feeling lonely though, likeminded individuals make you feel like at home.

If you ask me, I’ll say everything you need is there on social media, the good, the bad and the ugly. Just like you rightly said, social media comprises of both positive and negative contents so how the media impacts in the life of a person is solely dependent on the individual. Different people drop different things on the media without anyone questioning them, but it’s left for you the recipient to decide on what information or content you receive and accept. I would agree with you here that social media has brought lots of people from different background together. I have come across post on X and Facebook of couples who met through social media and they are happily married with kids and are leading a good life. Many people got their jobs from social media adverts, some business came as a result of social media engagements and they share their success story for many to see it and also see the benefit of the positive side of social media.
