I completely agree that people should have to be able to take care about themselves. It is OK to get help from others sometimes but basically we should have to be able to support ourself. Inflation is bitch... the ìnflation is indeed a global pandemic and it's gradually eating deep into the global economy,  both the first world and the third world countries are suffering from its effects, though some countries are fighting really hard to tackle the issue of inflation in their economy but it's still impossible to completely eradicate it, hence so many people still feel its impact, especially the poor and the middle class, their salaries can't cover their primary living expenses, let alone being enough to spend on the secondary expenses. Only those who have multiple sources of incomes are able to feel less impact of this inflation issue. And this is even worse for those who have a large family but depend on one source of income. Even most country's minimum wage isn't still enough cover for the primary expenses,  just to tell just how bad this is.

I totally agree with you that building a strong foundation and working very hard are important for anyone to be successful but then it is also about having access to opportunities though. Some people struggle not because they do not  try hard, but because they don't have the same chances as others.

This is a very notable fact that many people still fail to realize and understand even up till this way day.
It is the responsibility of the parent to seize every opportunity they have to impact good morals and practices into their child when the child is still very tender and starting to learn new things, and whatever information is planted in their heads stays there for a very long time and it will take a great deal of effort to change that opinion or perspective that they grew with. So the very first foundation is the responsibility of the parent to a child, if a parent teaches a child how to save money in a piggy bank and not spend all the money they’re giving, they’re gradually teaching the child the importance of savings and investment and when the child grows up, he’ll have that mentality and that’s the very first financial foundation.

^ I get the point, but I'm not fan of piggybank savings, it depreciates, but if you invest it, it's a better choice, you'll be keeping up with inflation and grow your stack over time.

Parents should teach children financial education than telling/showing them to save, that'd be of more help.
