Holding some strong coins during a bearish period will give you good results by doing DCA and make sure the project stays alive and continues to be developed, don't buy dead projects that won't thrive.

some people often confuse potential with dead projects though people tend to hold projects that seem to be stagnant because they are still holding on to the hope that it can still thrive in the future not all projects with an active team can still be successful in the future

but anyway imo so long as the project has some good vision and clear purpose i think it always has a chance to be successful in the future

Utility and tech lead the way. If the project upholds them and shills it appropriately, then it's going to be alright, probably, though, honestly speaking, with new ones, you can never be sure what to come of them the next day.

I also agree because I also hold some such projects, the price keeps going down due to the unstable state of the market but the Developer remains active to keep developing the project to make it better and the Community remains solid and even unshakable.

I believe such an optimistic project will eventually reach its point of success and make its holders become more confident and certainly earn more profits.

There will always be an opportunity to rise and prove that a project that is well built by experienced developers and a strong community will keep it going and keep growing.

As with meme coins that keep popping up every day, only made for farming and then running away with millions of dollars in their hands,
there is no development of any kind just promotions that aim to attract all the liquidity in and then leave.

Anyone should really avoid such projects and don't give them a chance to get that liquidity.
I am now still sticking with a project that is really optimistic because it continues to be developed.

But if you look at memecoins from another point of view, you'll find the difference,
as some memecoins are able to survive and continue to thrive quite well in this extreme crypto market.

I still hold a memecoin that I believe in with a strong community and developers who remain optimistic and continue to develop the project,
so there is no doubt that it will continue to survive until now.

I wish some people can go and read what happen during the ICO times, they will get a clear picture of how it ended, most of the projects that were erc20 then all die and never for once breath again, similarly many meme coins are already dead, only the ones with backings and probably whales hold are still alive and once they stop getting hype, they will die.

When there are too many meme projects, there are bound to be pumps and dumps scheme, it not advisable to invest on these meme coins knowing that many investors had lost heavily on them. Statistics shows that memes coins new start up projects has drastically increased and many of them has been dumping, while huge numbers of them are dead project s.

Now, Bitcoin has continued to dominate the market, it look like there are no hope for many altcoins breaking out, and the most common trends are the altcoins experiencing "New Lows" due to bitcoin dominance. I hope there will be a break this year.

The thing is that nowadays, everybody can do it - big or small, medium or even a celebrity - meme can be produced and pumped / rugged and screwed with by anybody that is willing to put 2+2.
That's why it's scary and not worth it.
