Bitcoin has been on a SOLO bull run, will it continue in 2025?

Bitcoin has shown a lot of strength, dominance, price growth adoptions, awareness etc, for more than one year, a huge weakness for altcoins to consolidate a full bull run. Many of us may agree with me that the currently Btc dominance has being responsible for the continuing altcoins constant market weakness, price bleeding, poor demands and other factors.
Now, i think the expectations of altcoins season(a full altcoins Bull run) are high, unfortunately, there seems to be no green light for altcoins season in sight even in early 2025. Can there be a break out?

There are some reasons as to why Bitcoin is going up while altcoins are going down or at least there's no significant movement as Bitcoin does:
1. Institutions prefer to buy Bitcoin than altcoins. Institutions just came into crypto and of course, it's a no-brainer that the preferred coin that they will buy would be Bitcoin. This is for me, one of the reasons why Bitcoin's going up while altcoins aren't.
2. FOMO - Many newbies are getting FOMOed as Bitcoin goes up, and this might not that much effect as the 1st one, but I believe this has a small effect as to why Bitcoin is going up while altcoins aren't.

It's quite unfortunate that while Bitcoin is going up, altcoins aren't, and I have some altcoins in my portfolio (almost 25% of my total portfolio are altcoins). In 2025, we don't know what will happen to Bitcoin, but maybe there are some that will sell their Bitcoin holdings and then re-invest it into altcoins that didn't pump yet. This could start the altcoin season.

About the not so big move in the alts I would also like to add that right now most of the people that have BTC are waiting to see what will happen in the next month or so and they are just not selling.
In a normal bullrun, once BTC hits the roof some of its value starts to spread into the other alts which is pretty natural. Right now we are still to see mktcap value to be distributed to the other alts.

Yes, Bitcoin passing a slow bull run in this time. But we can see that when Donald trump win in election then we can see, Bitcoin price is increasing rapidly in crypto currency market. But we also saw that near $100k Bitcoin price is increasing rapidly in crypto currency market. But after passing in $100k Bitcoin price is increasing slowly in crypto currency market. So I think that starting to 2025 maybe Bitcoin price is increasing gradually. So I think that we can expect to get best position in this crypto currency.

       -      Most of us know that the rise in the price value of bitcoin will have a severe correction by the beginning of 2025, so the other cryptos or altcoins that we see in the red in the market are surely also preparing for the beginning of the altcoins season next year.

And I also know that many of us are also waiting for that alts season, because they know that they will get more and more good profits from the altcoins they hold now.

Can there be a breakout especially in the coming 2025? Well, I am expecting there can be but am not sure if it would be as massive as we would it to be. For sure, many good alts will shine but not all and yes there can still be a number of memecoins that will dominate and new good ones to spark. Bitcoin will continue to dominate the market though most especially in the first quarter of 2025. Now, this is just my speculation and am not actually an expert on anything. Overall, we are living in a very interesting time and even in December we are experiencing good growth for Bitcoin and some selective alts and there can be more next month.

What is happening now seems to be a new ATH in the price of bitcoin every week or 2 weeks, and this week we are facing now looks like it will reach 112k$ each, so by next week before Christmas, it is possible that the price value of bitcoin will be at 112k$ or more.

But even so, this is just my speculation, because the market price is very unpredictable, the chart is difficult to read even if we say that we have technical or fundamental analysis, even I had a hard time.

This is bitcoin just doing bitcoin things. It doesn't look like BTC is going to move sideways anytime soon and allow the alts to decrease its dominance. It's probably best to wait or speculate early which of the altcoin ETF applications will be approved first. Institutional money would flow there too for sure.

BTC has increased significantly over the past 2 years and has left many ALTs at the bottom. However, I believe in the cyclical nature of BTC, so I also believe in the cyclical nature of altseason because bitseasoin and altseason are two sides of the same coin. Capital needs to be circulated efficiently and reasonably to create a bullrun instead of being stagnant in BTC.

From a technical analysis perspective, I see that Pure BTC.D has reversed from an uptrend to a downtrend, meaning that capital is now being prioritized to flow into ALTs. The rebound of Pure BTC.D could just be a technical correction before continuing to decline and shifting market share to ALTs. Therefore, I believe that 2025 will be the year of ALTs and ALT investors will receive a worthy profit.

I think let's just wait until the Trump administration will officially took office in January 2025. That is the time all investors are waiting for since the admins is pro-cryptocuurency and there might be surprises that awaits during their term I mean the whole year of 2025 is within Bitcoins cycle so yeah we might see some agressive and impulsive moves from both Bitcoin and Altcoins within that year.

There will certainly a breakout in 2025 altcoins season is prominent and it will come at all cost. BTC increasing demand has caused a great surge in its dominance and ETH, SOL both are also attracting huge investments that's why alts are bleeding and this is a good enviroment for the firm investors.

The week and the quick ones might have exited their trades and that's what this market wants it wants firm holders they will be the ones making more profit due to their trust. The green light for altcoins season will certainly be getting on in January.

The altseason don’t look like it’s coming anytime soon, not even early next year can we see it coming as bitcoin dominance will continue till 2025, with a lot of speculators seeing it ravel down to the first quarter of next year. Until the bitcoin dominance is over, we are not going to see the alt season yet. When the dominance of bitcoin is over, you don’t need to be told tht it has really come to an end already, money will start flowing from bitcoin to other altcoins and that’s when the alt season party begins and we will see an end to their weakness and price bleeding. This should be coming next year in my opinion, because I don’t feel bitcoin dominance will continue till end of next year.

there have been altcoins surging few weeks ago, everyone was excited about it but when the price was just moving sideways the discussion about  BTC solo bull run comes up gain.

looking at the charts of the altacoins that did a breakout weeks ago, the resistance has turned into a support though, i think there will be more break outs of altcoins in 2025. the BTC solo bull run is not so true but BTC certainly have spiked more than the altcoins.

We have had a lot of people ask about altcoin season in this cycle, the talk is all about BTC this time and the interest from countries and institutions. Maybe altcoin season will come and you just have to wait for it, but there are many altcoins and the ones you are holding may not pump.

when there is altcoins season, in most seasons, just like in the past seasons, more than 50% of altcoins will experience an uptrends movements to a significant price levels on many of the altcoins.
I don't think we have seen a full altcoins season since the past one year, what we have experienced in weeks ago, as you mentioned is a normal situation where certain altcoins were able to move with the bitcoin trends at some intervals. Solana, BNB, Pepe, XRP etc are some of the altcoins that has pump to some extent but does not reflects the entire altcoins market.
