For those who love cryptocurrency, they should be careful in every step because I noticed before I knew cryptocurrency there was a lot of bad news about cryptocurrency. So when I immediately learned cryptocurrency and immediately looked for a community about cryptocurrency that fully supports the market, coins, blockchain and everything about cryptocurrency science so as not to get scammed. It's hard at first to learn cryptocurrency but later you will get used to it and this has been proven by me who is still on this forum, the point is don't trust scammers or people you don't know who offer unreasonable prizes, it's better if there are people like that, it's better to just avoid them.

I am sure there can be more good advice on how to avoid scams and frauds...and I want you to share it here for all of us to learn on.

Scammers are not limited to the internet, they can be found anywhere, even among our trusted friends. Therefore, anything pertaining to your assets should be private. Social media influencers had been a contributing factor in the problem that led to newbies being scammed, so newbies should be on guard because the majority of them fall for luxurious materials that influencers used to convince people of their legitimacy and use malware links on their page to trick people.
When it comes to investing in crypto, I would advise beginners to keep conducting their own personal research because scammers are constantly coming up with new ways to deceive people, and just as we are learning to avoid becoming their victims, they are also conducting research against us too.

I personally am always careful when it comes to following newly launched cryptocurrencies, except maybe I believe in Bitcoin and Ethereum.

bitcoin and ethereum are not newly launched projects these two are the oldest most used with biggest marketcaps in the cryptocurrency industry these two are the most reliable and most trusted by crypto users

Of course, there is no doubt about the capacity of bitcoin and ethereum and I strongly agree that they are two very old coins and until now they dominate crypto with the largest and best market capitalization, until now, and it is very difficult for anyone to surpass, even though there are many movements below them, but they are still the best.

There are so many DMs to my personal Telegram offering about cryptocurrencies, not to mention I was immediately added to a cryptocurrency group that I didn't know. This is annoying, but many also say that this cryptocurrency is a good source of finance to invest in.

beware of people randomly messaging you especially those who want you to click on suspicious links or fill out specific forms that require you to input personal information do not download anything from messages that people you don’t know send

It seems that we should not always trust any shipments that we do not know, because usually the contents look very good but are very misleading when we follow the directions they do, because usually what we have followed will make whatever we have in our wallet instantly change hands. Agree, do not download any messages that we do not believe, and we will be saved.

can we make it simpler? never send money to people we don't know, who just sent a message a few days ago... never do that, and never share data with anyone on the internet, even that greatly minimizes fraud via text messages on Telegram or other chat applications...

avoiding fraud through communication is quite easy to do, what is very difficult to prevent is avoiding fraud through viruses or malware that infiltrate our devices... something that we are not aware of is more difficult to avoid.

That is true, and it is safer if one should store their coins in an offline or airgapped device, if you store your funds in the same device you use to browse the internet, there is always risk, because anything online is prone to hacking.

Honestly, is not easy to avoid scammers based on their new strategies that they are coming up with each and everyday to scam people. but with this information you have given, it will be a great help to people especially beginners like me, who don't have  knowledge especially about all this scams of things. The best guide to fully avoid scammers are to avoid  any unknown persons that you see online especially promising someone by doubling it investment and also to avoid clicking on any links you see online. If possible I will advise my fellow beginners not to engage in any conversation with anybody we meet online. It will be better for us to come to a place like this to seek for  knowledges.

Actually, the existing wallets are also good, and their protection can be considered good, but again, as said, not to install something that we are not sure that can be safe and is not something that can harm our computers. Also protect our computers with good anti-virus protection.
But I do agree with your opinion that we can have an offline device that can provide a sense of security, but it also depends on our needs. If it's only to store the results of the bounty. I don't think it needs to be expensive.
