There is another addition regarding security.. usually beginners do not care much about security until they become victims of fraud... yes, the first experience of being a victim will increase everyone's sense of caution and it becomes an invaluable experience... Sometimes I think some newbies in the crypto ecosystem actually don't mess up because they have zero knowledge about the crypto space however it's more because of fake and misleading information out there. Infact we are in a digital era an as such the awareness of the digital space in let's say inevitable.

What you are doing is something right, and I will also do the same thing with what you are doing. Bitcoin is undoubtedly a good way to invest your money, but I can’t say the same for altcoins, as a matter of fact, I have quite the opposite point of view concerning altcoins, and I think anyone who chooses to invest in them would be doing so at their own risk and should at all time approach with extreme caution. Because when you’re investing in shitcoins, you can never be careful enough as you don’t know when the project would be dumped, because most of those projects are mostly pump and dump projects and those who actually benefits from such projects are the developers and also some of the early investors who are lucky enough to take out their profits before the dumps.

These scammers are always getting new methods to get new victims which are always beginners in crypto and greedy crypto investors.

These methods you outlined are very good and will be useful to avoid many scam attempts, but how many newbies will listen to them?
Every newbie coming to cryptocurrency is greedy, they are after making cool money with less stress and work, and if they are after quick money, they will fall victim of scam easily; but if they can reduce their aim of making it quick and easily, they can make it through learning and gradual experience with little profit.
If all these can be avoided, the scammers will find it difficult to get any victim.

beware of people randomly messaging you especially those who want you to click on suspicious links or fill out specific forms that require you to input personal information do not download anything from messages that people you don’t know send

Do your research before that moment of agreeing to the request to send coins that you suddenly receive in your wallet. You will mark and the fraudsters are waiting for your first step, which is whether to send money to another user or receive it from the exchange, so that they will soon forward it to yours, where you do not have access and you are being cheated.
