I'll give you one advice: Never go behind trends because trends fade away, especially if you are planning to invest and not trade because when you invest, you tend to buy and hold for the long term, and in that time, the trend might be gone already when the time comes for you to sell. That's why you always focus on projects that aren't trend-based and AI projects are based on a trend and this trend will fade away over time.

However, if someone is trading, which means they are buying and selling in the short run, they can surely go for projects that are currently trending because such projects will have higher volatility and that will provide the trader with more profit opportunities and that is a positive thing in trading if someone understands.

There is nothing wrong with advising picking AI-based projects; I feel these are the projects that have potential in the future. Top companies and countries are vying to have the best AI in the industry, so why not community-dedicated AI? One of the projects worth looking at that is crypto-dedicated is VeniceChat; they have a token that you can use to stake, and the APR is good.

There is what is called trend in the crypto industry. Even til, projects without value, no road map or white paper are still in existence. AI is the new trend just like NFT did on their own time and later faded out. So if I get cash, I will load it will be fine.

So in this cycle it's used to be NFT's and then it died down, then tap2earn, which is also slowing down. It could be AI though, lots of potential in this project, but the market could be saturated and it means that it's going to be very hard to make money.

You understood what I meant. The market could be saturated. Although the AI industry is speedily evolving, but there is no guarantee that the AI projects will follow the same speed lane. With the way things are going, it could develop to a different things altogether because AI is too dynamic to be predicted.
It is a trend and it must surely die off, although it could last longer than NFT and tap trend but it will surely fade.

As far as I know, altcoins are just like seasonal because we can see that every year there are always changes in terms of cryptocurrency fundamentals.
I still remember when altcoins carried L2 from Ethereum, all communities continued to support massively and everyone was looking for the most solid L2 Ethereum project.
Then now comes AI combined with cryptocurrency and all communities massively support projects whose platforms are AI.

I am currently seeing the latest thing again, namely Web3. Has OP seen the news and switched his choice from AI to Web3?
I am sure that in the next few weeks or months all communities will choose Web3 projects to seek profit.
