We have heard about the positive impacts of Bitcoin Spot ETF on crypto market such as:
+ Confirming the value and role of BTC in the economy.
+ Allows investors to access BTC to diversify their portfolio.
+ Attract large capital from traditional financial markets.
Today, there is another positive impact:
Asset management firm and prospective BTC exchange-traded fund (ETF) provider VanEck will donate 5% of the profits from its fund (if approved) to Bitcoin developers Brink.>>
VanEck to Donate 5% of BTC ETF Profits to Bitcoin Core DevelopersAs we know, Bitcoin Core developers are responsible for maintaining the Bitcoin codebase. This includes fixing bugs, improving performance, and adding new features. VanEck's donation will help to ensure that the Bitcoin Core developers have the resources they need to continue their important work. This donation is a vote of confidence in the future of Bitcoin. It shows that VanEck believes that Bitcoin is a viable and valuable asset.
So VanEck's donation to Bitcoin Core developers is a positive development for the Bitcoin ecosystem. It is a sign of growing institutional interest in Bitcoin and a commitment to the long-term health of the network.
I would not be surprised if other Bitcoin Spot ETF providers soon announce to use a portion of profits from this product to fund the development of crypto market. In the context that the Inscription trend is having a negative impact on Bitcoin blockchain, I think they should sponsor Layer-2 solutions on Bitcoin for Dev to develop and perfect L2 product. I don't expect them to sponsor a new Hardfork because of the disagreement about BRC-20/Inscription trend
What direction do you think these Bitcoin Spot ETF providers could use a portion of their profits to fund for Bitcoin and the entire crypto market?
