That's an extreme level and I swear I won't be taking such stupid decisions in my life, I am a realistic person who never believed luck is on my side so I won't put something more valuable and luck decide the fate of it. I heard some stories like that from some rich guys who wagers some kind of properties or any commodity which usually holds huge value for a bet especially when they lost all their money previously and hoping that they can recover all the loss at once.

I never do this and don't think will ever engage doing it for any reason, I can't force gambling on myself when I know that I don't have anything with me to use for gambling, going into debt to gamble is a signal for addiction and indiscipline behavior towards gambling, not to now talk of staking your valuables all because you're gambling, this is what some may ever live their life to regret doing.

Same here on which i wont really be letting myself comes into a point that i would really be selling things already just to have that gambling session or would be able to feed
up my leisure time on which it is already that comes into that certain extent on which this is something that not a must thing to be done by someon. You would really be ending up
on sleeping on the streets if you do have this kind of behavior on which you would really be that trying out to play even if it means on selling your possessions on which
this kind of act indicates that your gambling addiction is really that indeed severe.

I have never gambled to the point that I am short of funds and will stake any of my valuables. That is addiction because you have the urge to gamble without thinking if you have funds to gamble or not. Any gambler that finds himself in this situation should see an expert for help. Otherwise, he will lose it all before he knows.

Yes, I agree with what you say, to bet things of value and something that makes you lose normal control, I say lose normal control because I do not see it as good to risk anything other than money in a bet, then if it is classified as an addiction, acts should not be done in that way, in the end the only one harmed is the person as such, there will be no type of action if you lose but to hand over what was bet and that for me is losing things in a very foolish way, that is why I have always said, you have to bet only the money that we are willing to lose so that things in our daily lives do not get out of balance.

About six or seven hours ago, I was watching a story on how someone sold some items in his house to fund his gambling activity. He's been losing in an online game which is easily played on a mobile phone. See how quick things turn when games are accessible almost everywhere? I'm not saying this wouldn't happen in a land-based casino because it already did but phone + internet makes losing money (and valuable materials ) on gambling a lot faster.

For the land based I have seen so many people sell their phone at a very cheap price just so they can bet on a game they thought would give them a sure win.

I personally have had some gamblers walk up to me and ask if I wanted to buy their phone that’s worth up to +$80 for just $10 because they need the money urgently to stake on a game and then walk home with nothing. Some even make deals with the agents and stake their valuables and then end up losing it.

It happens in both of them although the online version is more frequent since they have access to some of their valuables store online.
