What are Shit posts?

Shitposts are posts that are of a very low quality and adds nothing to the ongoing discussion, it is recommended that if you do not understand what is being discussed in a particular topic, do not post, only read. If you constantly do this, you would see that after sometime you would have enough knowledge to join any discussion in the forum and give your quality contribution.

Are they posts that was just viewed and no one made any comments?
Or posts that was made on the wrong thread....?
Or they are post that likely not correspond with the topic given?
Or they are posts that doesn't pass necessary information...
Or they are post with all above mentioned features?

I read some rules and regulations of the forum but didn't get much detailed explanation about shit posts... That's the major reason I brought up this questions.
And I don't want to fall a victim as a result of ignorance, or improper information.

Lastly, what are the penalties of dropping a shit post?
I'm eager to know and I'll highly appreciate your thoughts.

Shit post will have no meaning they will be useless to the Altcoinstalks community and it will look like the author of the post is making no effort at all in creating it and just want to publish it to fulfill their agenda which can be to complete campaign qouta or just to increase activity to increase the rank.

If anyone will be posting shit he will be given shit poster badge and everyone can see he is making shit posts many members received that badge already so if you don't want to get that badge avoid making shit posts. So far all of your posts are good in my opinion.

Admittedly that topic doesn't define what shitposting is, nor do the forum rules, only the response to shitposts. This has been on my to-do list for a while to be honest.

In reality it's pretty subjective as to what is and isn't a shitpost, unlike say spammers or plagairists, hence generally it is better moderated by karma whe npossible.

Nah, I once started a topic it was good and no one made any comment on it because the section was  not too much visited by members and AFAIK I got no comments on it and I am pretty sure the topic was good and should not be considered as shit posts although itw as a news.

Posts made on the wrong threads on purpose is wrong and can be counted as shit post or spam but many members have posted topics on wrong threads they are given negative karma one time but no tag so they are safe but doing the mistake over and over again can cause harm to the account.

Yeah, if the comment made on this topic is totally irrelevant and not so helping I mean you are asking about shit posts and I start talking about BTC performance then that would be totally a shit post.

Posts, which don't have neccessary information like we all know what BTC is and how much potential it have, but saying like it have good potential and charts are green, and they seem to be bullish, etc. etc. without giving the actual logical reason which one can from himself can also confirm, these types of answers can be shit posts.

If a post does not carry a meaningful thought, then it could be regarded as one.

if a post is spamming unnecessary contents then it could be one as well.

If you lack reply to a post made, then your post may carry less meaning or thoughts.

If a topic had been discussed already, then it may also be termed a shitpost or spam.

When you're making a post in which you have no idea on what you're saying, such is shitposting.

Lastly, when you're trolling with your post and do not have a direction on price point for making it, such also could be termed a shitpost.

If I am not mistaken, you have been accused it. And non or some of the areas your made mentioned is related to shit-post. And many people have commented and I believed your seen the different answers from different users. As the name implied "Shit-Post" it means a post that has not meaning, value and out of point. It is a nonsensical post. As you are here, you are to learn and when you have the. You educate others if what you have learned and not to copy things from internet to make as if you are the owner of the post. That is nonsense post and it is a shit post. Always use your brain and engaged in meaningful discussions and not ranting.

Plagiarism or copy posting without adding reference to the OP.

Anything that does not in any form brings connection or flow of understanding relating to a particular discussion going on is regarded as shit-posting.
Though, everyone could have some different ways of conveying or passing information across, but it should be in a way that relates to the particular discussion already on ground. If there is nothing one have to contribute, then skip the topic and look for one that there's something you can add.

this is why there are boards for locals or depending on your language of choice this allows the members of this forum to communicate effectively and find people who can relate more to them because they live in the same country

but for those who do want to communicate in english but don’t know how broken english is okay but sometimes posts like that are difficult to understand and makes it harder to create a discussion because it ends in a misunderstanding

Shit posts are basically low quality posts. Most times users often see them as basically low quality post that don't convey any valid information or air a proper point of view rather it may just be trolling or invalid Ideas too. The thing is there are different things people look at in quality posts too. Some people see quality posts as properly phrased and punctuated posts.
However on the other hand some  people who are not core English speakers may not care much about punctuations and grammar rather they are more concerned with the contents.

I always recommend to newbies that they should read a lot when they join a new forum, reading is the only way you can build knowledge and make really high quality posts. If you start by posting in topics you do not even understand, people will report your posts and they will be deleted as spam.

There are zero penalties for a single shit post. Most likely no consequences at all.

If it is 1 out of 100 bad posts no one gives a fuck.


But if there are a ton of shit spots  things will happen.

You may get the posts deleted.

You may get banned.

so it is a good reason to make good posts.
