People fed up with those scam projects is my opinion why they didn't have enough recognition even after advertised via sports.
Do you have any reference to people being fed up? I don’t know where you would find this kind of information, knowing that it is just an advertisement and you cannot quantify the number of people that would check it out, so I don’t know how you would see that they are fed up.

I didn't mean these two projects in particular, I am talking about the failure rate of altcoin projects overall since 2018 is higher so over the period of time people fed up for looking to make profits but what they got is actually failure so they moved on to invest more cautiously and there are another set of investors who are literally don't know anything but blindly invest on whatever projects that is trending.

There are users fed of scam tokens being advertised, mostly are users who have been in crypto for years who been seeing all thise scams happening all the time. The new users in crypto are still excited to make money even from the memecoins airdrop.

Therr are ither tokens I found out like the $KARATE token which is launched by Karate.com. A combat promotion by the likes of UFC.

Of course, people are not blind so as to never be aware of the many scams and frauds in the cryptocurrency industry and certainly there are many players who are not managed well and may end up bankrupt leaving their supporters and holders with nothing at the end. Just because a certain crypto-based platform or coin or token is heavily advertising in many sport events and personalities does not mean that things will always be right...some of them are just wasting their money for possible prestige and goodwill for nothing. No wonder many people are rather into memecoins even if there are also big risks here...they can be looking for the jackpot like giving them x10 and even x1000 returns.

It adds the distrust when a crypto company backed by government officials involved in regulating crypto turned out to be a scam like FTX.

I often think they all conspire to scam the public using crypto companies and then made crypto bad using the media while the government is confiscating investors money. I don't see this on tokens promoted on sports however.

There are so many projects that have been advertised through sports media, but there is not enough dialogue. Because investors will only lose their money by believing these ads! Actually advertisers are promoting these scam schemes only to earn money so there is no victim curse. In fact, scammers usually pay to promote companies that people want to believe. Suppose 1xbet is a pure scam project and some known scam casinos like it are advertising their brand in multiple sports. So after knowing this you should kick them and make everyone aware.

Well, it is critical to keep in mind that majority of projects use the platform of sports to market themselves which is why while investing, one needs to be wise. But wait, not everything wrapped or backed by a professional outlook is as pure in its purpose. Instead of being lured by big promotions, we should spend a lot of time in researching to invest. It is necessary to inform ourselves and other people about these risks, so that we do not fall for obvious scams that are actively spread in various media today.

1xbet is advertised still in many websites and even on downloaded movies on warez sites. But I'm no sure if they have a token that is advertised on sports event.

If these casinos itself had launched their own token I think they can become a big compeititors of top coins. The regulators however will probably watching over them like vultures.

It is natural that times are bad for us and people will resort to various means to cheat. When a company completely reaches the edge of people, many join hands with them to cheat. Suppose binance is a popular exchange platform and a risk-free dependent company. All investors keep funds fun with this exchange worry free. So now if binance is promoting a scam project then many investors will invest without research. Because people trust binance and they believe binance will never promote a scam project.

When sports and investing come together be extremely careful. Sports marketing can make something look good but it might be scam. To avoid losing money watch out for warning signs like famous people endorsing promises of unusually high profits lack of clear information unregistered investments and pressure to invest fast.

Do your research learn about project finances management and rules. Stay informed about investing trends and regulations and seek expert advice. Be cautious transparent and realistic about your investments. Also organizations and education campaigns should promote responsible investing and help prevent scams.

I don't remember seeing Altcoins advertised at sports events. A couple of exchanges collaborated with the teams to advertise their exchange, but I'm not sure if they advertised their tokens. Casinos mostly target popular leagues and teams to promote their platform, and Bc games, sports, and stakes are among them.

I have seen that Sportsbet also promotes Bitcoin when it finalizes its deal with the teams. I got a Southampton jersey with a Bitcoin logo on it. I also saw a boxing match in Amsterdam where Bitcoin was advertised. I don't know who the advertisement was behind, but it is crazy that people spend money to promote Bitcoin, which does not have an owner.

I do agree.
They would be like a prey for them to tear apart ;D
That would be an interesting development.

It's really crazy, and I didn't see it, but why did they do that?
Just for crypto to be more known and widespread? And to then follow with their platform being a good place to put your BTC on?

It adds the distrust when a crypto company backed by government officials involved in regulating crypto turned out to be a scam like FTX.

I often think they all conspire to scam the public using crypto companies and then made crypto bad using the media while the government is confiscating investors money. I don't see this on tokens promoted on sports however.
FTX is a casualty of the crypto market, US politics, and law. Sam BF was a great actor and fooled us with his fame, wealth, and success. The collapse of FTX has severely damaged investor confidence, especially since outsiders can now say that even a project heavily promoted during the 2022 Super Bowl was a scam.

Now we see more brands appearing in sports leagues, but it seems only crypto fans and investors pay attention. Most viewers probably don't really care about the brands on jerseys. I didn't care about AIG on MU jerseys until it ran into trouble during the 2007-2008 financial crisis ^^

Re: Altcoins advertised on sports events
« Reply #28 on: September 23, 2024, 06:51:30 PM »
Crypto casino Rollbit also advertise them on sports. and they have there own altcoin Rollbit Coin (RLB). But here they have such advertisement for a promotion but also their token has become auto advertisement.  Sports is everyone's favorite thing so it is enjoyed by most of the people sir if any company can give their advertisement here then they get their customers in large amount.  Basically the coin companies that promoted themselves in their sport didn't originally promote for the tokens they promoted for their company service and their token became auto-promoted.
