As far as I remember,  before the collapse of FTX, the FTT token was heavily advertised through different sports sponsorships (there was a deal with Major League Baseball (MLB) ). Didn't really see much more of 'em and would like to see other suggestions too ;D

Usually this known as "advertisements" are commonly known a sponsorship or oartnership, they (crypto company) sponsored a team in exchange of advertising their coins/product/company.

OKX, Bybit, FTX (FTT) and Binance. Well mostly of these are exchanges with their own coins.

Yes its usually a partnership with the promotion or with the team. Casino sometimes partners with the team where their logo is pinned on their uniforms. But this time I haven't foundal any of them anymore.

CEX tokens are still among those advertised on sports events whcih is still considered. Although its the exchange they advertised. They usually also will have a good price compare to just a token.

So far I have only seen CRO, a coin that often appears on the sidelines of football fields, I have not seen many gambling sites that often dominate billboards at matches that are dominated by men who like them.

Didn't see it, so, thanks for the heads-up!

It's trading volume is very small, unfortunately.

I've seen Tezos once in racing and most of the time crypto.com these are few of what I remembered but I know I have seen other crypto I just forgot what they are. These crypto advertisements mostly seen in football, basketball, combat sports, car racing and more.

Although thy become popular, there were no discussions over it that you can find in some forums thatnare not related to crypto.

1. Vechain (VET) The official blockchain of UFC
2. Crypto.com (CRO) Also in UFC, advertised on sportswear.

Is there any thing else you can add?
I've seen both of them in UFC as they are being posted on the Octagon.
Crypto.com, aside from being advertised on sportswear and in UFC, they also have an arena in Crypto.com Arena for the LA Lakers.

Discussions? I don't think that we need to make some discussions with regards to these 2 projects in forums. We might not discussing or talking too much about them, but the fact that they've been on the top 100 in terms of market cap for a long time is a proof that they have a huge community behind it. Maybe the community has been talking to them, but in another platform. Reddit? Twitter? Telegram? Discord? I mean forum isn't the only platform for them to be discussed.

People fed up with those scam projects is my opinion why they didn't have enough recognition even after advertised via sports.

On the other hands few of the known scam casinos such as 1xBet is advertising their brand on multiple sports means they're still going with whatever they do and no authority doesn't give a damn about people getting screwed.

Well, the fact that this crypto assets were advertised on sports events does not necessarily mean that they can become easily and automatically adopted, incase you are not aware, cryptocurrency is still banned in some or most countries, like here in Nigeria, crypto is banned, so, it doesn't matter where crypto is being advertised, if it's banned in most countries, adoption will be difficult or even impossible.

So, for this advertisements to be effective in promoting and pushing adoption in crypto, countries of the world will have to first adopt and legalize it, this i believe is the major advertisement the crypto industry need right now, acceptance from government of all levels around the world.

Obviously, the members there would only focus on how the fight/match went on and not on what brands appears on the ring/octagon/pitch. My question is why would you look for discussions for VET and CRO on forums that are not into crypto?

Apart from VeChain (VET) and Crypto.com (CRO),there are other coins like Chiliz (CHZ), Algorand (ALGO), and Tezos (XTZ). but in as much as they have been heavily advertised in sports and have partnered with big names like football clubs and others, Despite all the exposure they are getting or have gotten, these coins still haven't caught on with the general public or sparked much conversation outside of crypto forums. It's as if they are famous but no one or should i say , not everyone really knows what to do with them.

People fed up with those scam projects is my opinion why they didn't have enough recognition even after advertised via sports.
Do you have any reference to people being fed up? I don’t know where you would find this kind of information, knowing that it is just an advertisement and you cannot quantify the number of people that would check it out, so I don’t know how you would see that they are fed up.

I don’t think it is the altcoins they are advertising directly, but it is their service or the company, just like others have said.

It seems to be related to gambling... where not all bets made by gamblers will be discussed in forums or online... some platforms that sponsor UFC certainly have their own considerations, considering that every sport is still related to gambling, and I even think they can still benefit from the marketing strategy as sponsorship...

Because sports are a potential place to catch online gamblers, I think it is still the main option for casino platforms to get new users. Branding is the most expensive thing for a product, so it will still be done to a certain extent even though it is sometimes not profitable for the platform.

1. Vechain (VET) The official blockchain of UFC
2. Crypto.com (CRO) Also in UFC, advertised on sportswear.

Is there any thing else you can add?
rather than altcoins i notice that it’s actually exchanges that sponsor the most sports events and teams which make sense since you would expect they have much more money compared to altcoins which have just been launched just recently

i see bybit and rollbit in the passing in multiple sports
