Nice initiative babo. The thing is if you are to actually set up something like this while still trying to kick out cheating as much you should consider members that can be elected as active members only and in addition to that you can chip in a few rules like number of posts required and probably karma required too. But I think the Karma limit shouldn't be huge since there are many members here who are quality posters but don't have that much of a huge ton of karma on their profiles.
I actually voted 100 because I think the bigger the rewards the more effort people may want to put in . I may be wrong though.

my goal is to do beautiful and fun things for the community with the help of the big boys, like icopress and rose

I am certainly in favour of higher karma as a condition, but now I see that there is not a very large number of users with over 50 karma points.
Over time, if similar contests relied on karma points, I believe that it would force many to try to make better-quality posts.

In the end, karma points aren't that hard to earn. For example, Freemind launched a campaign of additional rewards with karma for everyone who secures their forum accounts staking Bitcoin address.

users can become full member with just 1 post via teleportation but users registered and active here might not reached the full member rank yet which is why limiting users with minimum number of post is better idea than rank then only it will be fair for the users who are active here supposed to be participating in any community related events.

What is the minimum time it takes to reach full member rank on this forum?
It would also be illogical if a newbie or an account registered two months ago could know who deserved the title of forum hero during the whole year, for example.

Of course this is also true, if a recently teleported user comes here and doesn't know anyone, how can he vote?
I would say to then leave the entry limit with a soft karma, even 50 karma is enough to understand if the person was appreciated or simply absent.
