The best OS on mining is Windows 10 then off all the privacy on settings so the mining will make faster and no lag its making the internet fast

I use Windows 10 on all my rigs. But if you plan to stick more than 8 video cards into one rig, you will have to install Linux and understand its configuration.

Use laptop for mining? I don't think it is good sidea for your laptop. For mining, you need a strong machine and efficient heat dissipation system. PC will be better on laptops, I think laptops should only be used for forge Pö tokens.
