The IEO: An Evolution of the ICO!

Some how, gentle men and Ladies, many of us know  that ICOs have been in decline, the Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs) have been gaining a lot of attention recently because of the rise in popularity and the extremely quick salescycles that are reminiscent of ICOs.
The objective of ICOs and IEOs are essentially the same, which is to offer tokens to a large group of investors. An IEO is basically an ICO except that it is launched and managed by an existing exchange instead of the organization that created the token. The exchange holds and sells the token on behalf of the project team. This small change has significant effects on the entire process. Any contrary view? your thoughts.

For IEOs, not all. Just take a look at Binance and how they are gearing towards favoring bigger investors.

Cryptocurrency is currently experiencing not the best time, and IEO can change things for the better, so many companies understand that IEO is almost 100% success and because of this, IEO is gaining so much popularity.

I agree if the IEO is a revolution of the ICO, but there will be a dump when investors buy new tokens or coins on the exchange.
The IEO only takes a few seconds to make a sale and I think the enthusiasm of investors is very good when undergoing the IEO because we often see fake projects which then make many investors lose

The IEOs may not be for the bigger projects nor investors only, except we are only looking at Binance, kucoin or Houbi exchanges IEOs, but there are smaller exchange IEOs like Latoken exchange IEOs where investors are buying. Checkout Latoken exchanges for many IEOs. Thanks

ICO and IEO were born at the same time, but in the past ICO was chosen because it doesn't require a lot of money, only whitepapers and websites are interesting so ICO can run.
while IEO is expensive because it will be done immediately in exchange and risk putting a bad exchange name when it fails.
but now ICO is very thick with what is called fraud which makes many people choose other alternatives, namely the IEO.
The IEO is much safer because those who run it are exchangers, not theirs.

I think the IEO is a breakthrough and fast selling of tokens. In addition, many IEOs are now emerging so that the ICO is threatened. I think investors are turning to the IEO, including me.

IEOs entrust fundraising to exchanges and allow them to serve as their administrators, meaning that the exchanges must be careful about who they associate with. If an exchange fails to properly vet an IEO and investors are defrauded, the blame will be laid at the feet of the exchange. This makes it less likely that the exchanges will do business with bad actors.

Many people say so, IEO is the next of ICO, the crowdfunding system.
IEO has the positive side where it has been listed in certain exchange and can buy or trade directly during the IEO.
However, one to remember, we need to be careful in analyzing whether the trading volume in the IEO is real or fake, and we should know which exchange they are listing, if it is a big exchange, it will be very promising.

I don't quite agree here. An IEO's got the guarantee from exchange that it's sold. Meanwhile, buying an ICO, you're always followed by the fear that you'll hold a bunch of worthless tokens if that ICO fails or ICO team take your money and run.

I was so hyped by some of the earliest IEOs though: Celer, Top Network... But after the launch of Matic a few days ago on Binance, my desire on taking part in an IEO has gone. People were too greedy to sell out their tokens. One more reason, you have to hold a specific amount of exchange coins to buy IEOs. And when the an IEO's finished, exchange coins are sold in large scale. It's very tricky to buy and sell exchange coins without being lost.

Be careful to view about IEOs. For me, IEOs just give a guarantee for the token sale/crowdfunding with popular exchanges. To invest in a project, we don't only view its softcap/hardacap as the achievement on its token sale/crowdfunding. But more than it, we must analyze the next development or its potential improvement through WP, especially about its MVP, strategy/plans, community support, and its team quality. I think these factors are also crucial to learn deeply. So, never follow IEOs because of FOMO.

IEO is much better alternative of ICO because investors trust on exchanges and project because they know listing will be straight to the exchange after IEO done! but not for bounty hunter its skip hunters work!

I think IEO is not an evolution of the ICO but it is a new way in the token sale. There is a new type in the token sale, people call it by IEO. It cooperates with exchanges to make a great token sale.
