I don't understand why people believe 2018 will be a bull market like 2018, where the price rose 20x. Maybe we are forgetting that when Bitcoin bottomed in 2015, it didn't reach an all time high again until 2017, two years later. So if Bitcoin has bottomed over only half a year of consolidation, then we can expect around 6-12 months of further consolidation until we continue to move higher. Call me conservative, but I find it more realistic of the past recoveries.

Personally I think this is bad advise, this is more of the less the fomo mentality, and in my opinion why prices are moving towards $6k right now. Accumulation time was back in Jan-Mar when the price was $3-4k or buying into the momentum at $5k for a swing trade. I won't be waiting until June or July to accumulate more, I'm more thinking September-November time when the price returns to $3-4K if the "2015 prophecy" continues to be accurate. To me it seems like anyone buying now are those are failed to buy when prices were lower, and therefore feel they need some exposure now "before it's too late".

Nope. Do you believe in "history repeats itself"? The problem is we don't know when it's going to repeat if ever what you are predicting for the market now to be a great year to invest. Anyway, the market may seem good right now but we don't really know what's going to happen next. Anytime, those whales can just simply drop the bomb making everyone go crazy so the best advice is to always invest only on an amount you can afford to lose.
