New user with only a few posts, but I noticed that his posts are mostly in threads started by BG shills, for example:

Have given 20% warning. Could be innocent enough, though based on similar accounts and promotional-style posting for BG it remains unlikely.

Was warned on November 9th and went back to shilling the next day lol. Have given badge + 1 strike, can be added to Misbehaving with 2 strikes if continues.

I will add here an ANN thread, which quickly attracted many new users to register on the forum, and everyone immediately wanted to praise the project.
LITR is not just a meme coin; it's the foundation of the LITRBULL ecosystem.
It's an obvious shilling for me.
I honestly don't see why all posts like this are separated into different categories (spam, shill, incentivised...) when everything can be considered spam.

This time I will not single out all those fake users from the thread and link them here. From previous experience, there is not enough proof for any action, so any further effort would be superfluous.
I will put them on my ignore list anyway.

I think admin is dealing with this user personally, as I noticed the ann was moved from Advertise your stuff to announcements by him, and user was questioning the Rank Express option.

The topic is filled with a bunch of shills, that's why originally I had moved it to IP section, or AYS, can't remember. I guess admin had other ideas though...

I honestly don't see why all posts like this are separated into different categories (spam, shill, incentivised...) when everything can be considered spam.

The projects users shill vs advertise are often considerably different, given that advertising is done openly and shilling is done covertly (two side of the same coin you could say).

But there is otherwise the benefit of users being aware of the projects being shilled, in order to be extra cautious about a project, hence the IP section helps to draw attention to these.

Regular users should not be held hostage to paid but short-term memberships.
Whatever the agreement, some basic norms of behaviour would have to be respected. In a month or two, that project will complete its cycle and may never return to the forum. However, he will enjoy a privileged position compared to members who will be on the forum even after many projects.

I noticed this account some days ago and even checked his post history but didn't reported it. I had my doubts but was unsure of what to do! He doesn't have the same posting patterns. As dragononcrypto said, he could be innocent though!

It's possible, but for me personally it's unlikely. You have to know that shills adapt and try to give the impression of normal users, but still they can't hide some obvious things. It remains to be seen how they will behave further, and then we will see if I was right or not.

I moved previously this topic to AYS, they decided to ask admin to move them back. Well, they don't fulfill the requirement of having a link to their web site so soon this topic will be locked if they don't want to stay inside AYS with their spam.

I moved previously this topic to AYS, they decided to ask admin to move them back. Well, they don't fulfill the requirement of having a link to their web site so soon this topic will be locked if they don't want to stay inside AYS with their spam.

For context sake the PMs I got from the OP contained these gems. I wouldn't normally share private PM, but is very relevant to this situation here.

200,000 yeh right. But more importantly, an assignment and contest you say? If that's not admitting directing shills to the forum for a form of bounty then I don't know what is 

And now the topic is receiving replies from shills again, completely ignoring forum guidelines that have already been acknowledged. What a surprise!

As you say topic belong in AYS if basic rules can't be followed. All the shill posts deserve to be split off and sent to the trash imo.

Admin needs to get a grip instead of playing my niceguy.

I can't say with certainty that this is a BG shill because he uses a slightly different tactic than the others - namely, instead of directly mentioning BG, he uses images that clearly show that CEX and often mentions a token that is directly connected to that CEX.

My feeling is that this is still a shill profile that has been successfully hiding under the radar, and I discovered it because it started appearing in topics started by a potential shill who has not yet been fully revealed.

My feeling is that this is still a shill profile that has been successfully hiding under the radar, and I discovered it because it started appearing in topics started by a potential shill who has not yet been fully revealed.

Have given 20% warning. The user is being intelligent by using screenshots instead of explicity promoting the exchange, but still over half of the posts are promoting it...

In this case the user gets the opportunity to respect the forum rules if they value their account, or otherwise be labelled as a shill.

In fact, the way this user is shilling is very subtle, so he barely stands out or draws attention like other users.

In any case, looking at the post history shows that the user is shilling, even so, the user will only receive a 10% warning, with the intention of changing his behavior. If after that 10% the user remains the same, they will have more severe sanctions.

@dragononcrypto & @Freemind, there is always at least a small possibility that the user is simply using some CEX and taking all the data from it and using it in discussions. However, in this particular case, I see that we all agree that this is not the case, but that it is a tactic that has obviously gone under the radar.

He got -1 from me, and I wonder how shitposters like this get + karma at all - I offer a possible option of how it happens, because I found him in this topic that was opened by a well-known BG shill who is a Senior member and has the possibility of giving karma points.

It would be good to take a look at the karma logs, maybe you'll find something interesting.

You're right, that user follows the same pattern as the previous one, using images instead of text to "talk" about BG.

The user has received a 20% warning (the first) so we will wait to see how he reacts.

I see which Sr. Member you are referring to, I will follow that user's next moves.
