Why people afraid to invest in bitcoin??

Most of the time people afraid of losing. Losing is not the gladness that investors and people wants to happen it is the very reason of killing self confidence and the possible good future. When you lose your investment specially bitcoin, it won't be back anymore. That is why some people doesn't want to enter the perimeter of bitcoin investment they are not risk taker.

Some are weak. Some are strong enough but no courage to do new things risky. Despite of being weak and strong I think the risky environment is the most they afraid of. Risky can take the money out or it come in to the wallet naturally.

Most people are afraid of the unknown. These people don't understand how Bitcoin operates. All they've ever experienced are the FUDs spread in them by the governments.

Its because of negative feedback about bitcoin now thats why some people afraid to invest but it is a good time to invest in bitcoin because it was still low price.

Ofc cause of the market volatility during the last months...even while it looks like this is going to be a problem of the past. Those who jumped onto the band-waggon late 2017 have burnt their fingers and are a bit scared even if they are holding onto their coins. If i would own more BTC...still at this point...i would also keep on them cause the big fall was over. Like all goldrushes, there are a lot of winners and ...not-yet-winners. Still, i assume it is going to play out and normalize itself on the long run.

Yes ! These are some of the reasons why some are afraid to invest in bitcoin.
1.Hacking risk. On December 19, 2017, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange said it would file for bankruptcy after it was hacked for the second time that year. Over $70m worth of bitcoins has reportedly been lost by several cryptocurrency exchanges and miners, highlighting concerns about the security of such currencies.

2.Hard fork" splits. Since the value of and support for the currency depend entirely on the community using it, disagreement between the stakeholders may result in the splitting of the network to support new competing cryptocurrencies, this is known as a "hard fork".
For example, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a hard fork from the original Bitcoin. Effectively, BCH is now a different cryptocurrency from the original bitcoin, inviting stakeholders to sell their "old" bitcoins and invest in this new one.

I think people afraid of  self negativeness. They don't want to face the reality that risky life is the shadow of real life how much more in virtual currency. To be risk taker is not their attitude.

maybe they are afraid if bitcoin prices fall again but if they can be more calm and be patient until bitcoin prices rise again they will be able to profit and investment on bitcoin is not a scary thing

I think so people are afraid to invest in bitcoin because of its price that may drop below the value until it loses its value and fear they will lose their investment even if I am afraid I will lose my investment.
