A slightly bizarre question? Who owns the US dollar? Who owns my house? Who owns the carrot at my local store? You pay for it, you own it. Perception is changing slowly, the more people that own something, the less chance that one entity can control it. I believe that is the benefit of Bitcoin. No one organisation has control over the value, therefore the owners and perspective owners dictate the value. All just another big game, have fun.

Bitcoin is owned by no one. Just like the real gold, it was created and designed to be mined by those who understands the mathematical calculations. Bitcoin is decentralized, thus no authoritative body is in control or owns it. Not even Satoshi Nakamoto who invented it.
