Can I purchase iota in the us

I am beginning to see the benefits that the Tangle and iota has to offer. I want to buy, however it seems like it is a complicated process here in the US. If anyone has bought iota, or would know how to, I would love some explanation. Thanks in advance for any tips.

Somebody i knew that he bought some cryptos even if he is in the US. He uses VPN to access and trade. However if the exchange uses kyc before you withdraw, i think there is no chance but there are some exchanges that doesnt need kyc before you withdraw. When case comes to worst, just wait for binance US and there you can freely buy whatever you want.

Regulations make US citizens unable to invest crypto, but there are several ways if you want to have altcoins like IOTA, use DEX exchanges that provide exchanges between coins, now there are some centralized exchanges that don't require KYC, you can visit coinmarketcap for a list of exchanges of coins IOTA

It means using illegal ways to trade and access the exchange. It is not a recommended solution for sure. I think it is better to find out another way.

I agree with this suggestion, just waiting for the exchange that supports and allows American. Then you can buy IOTA there.

Dictionaries have answered it and you have also said that if you trade a cryptocurrency in the US it's "complicated".
I do not know exactly how complicated it is to trade on cryptocurrecny in the US but I am sure that is something that is forbidden to its citizens and to buy IOTA you will also have complicated problems and problems as well.

As crypto seems illegal for the USA residents, I think you must be patient to wait for the upcoming information that authorizes you. Or you search on google on what exchanges, USA residents can buy IOTA.

If you want to buy IOTA, move out somewhere else 

Seriously, purchase will be very difficult from sources let's call it official.

You can try foreign cantor without verification and via VPN. Small amounts, because larger ones can block.

You can try on decentralized exchanges, but there is practically no trade there.

You can buy physically from trusted person.
