Today I received a message from a random newbie trying to trick users into installing and using some sort of wallet so they can steal your funds.

Please do not fall for this sort of thing. They claim they will have an exchange after their ICO. These are the kind of scams people fall for when they really should be investing in genuine hard-working people trying to create something.

If you are unsure if something is a scam or not just leave the links here and I can give you an educated opinion. DO NOT TAKE THIS AS INVESTMENT ADVICE. I will merely assess the risk ratio.

I don’t click on suspicious links at all, because now you can not only get the virus on your computer, but also lose all your data.  Including passwords from wallets and accounts.

No the app doesn't need to be malicious when the while thing is a ponzi to begin with. They want the wallet to be working. I think it is to try to lure people in with a false sense of security.

Real team,real projects can be see if the team attempt one of the crypto event something like that. Has a working product which is more good and better not doing ICOs cause it old way to attract money from investors better doing IEOs like in Binance which has a high rate to succeed. A good white paper and active team is a worth project to invests just what i do. This just my opinion btw nothing else.

I agree with your statement.We should avoid posting our personal details on unsecured links as these links can use our personal data for any malicious activity and can sell our data to others too.
