of course , its always a good thing to invest in altcoins because when fomo start in the market and bullrun start all altcoins can give you at least x3 and more , so if you invest 1000$ in good altcoins with real project you will get good rewards after some time ..

I think the OP concern is about ALTS which is Altcoinstalks tokens if I'm not mistaken. The topic is not about polkadot, atom, ether or what although you mentioned some potential altcoins. Its about ALTS altcoinstalks token. ALTS is not shit coin in the future. Maybe today it is not well know but after 3 to 5 years the popularity will boom.

always avoid to invest in the bear market because no matter which price you bought in the token will continue to drop in the price and you wil lose , wait for the price to start accumulation that start buying in parts and in different prices , avoid to buy all at once so your wallet wont be effected ..

We can exchange the points we have, but there is a point limit of 10k before redeeming the points we have to get ALTS tokens, until now I still have ALTT tokens and hope to exchange points after my points reach 10k.

I don't believe not to invest in bear market. I assume it is the best time to buy potential coins then hold until the bull season. Diversify investment is wise move to eliminate a sudden lose. Anyway all depends on us and how we analyse the market flow.

Should we be investing in ALTS? The buy orders are terrible so no one is giving a realist price on the ALTS. People are not willing to let it go for a certain amount too. I think it is $0.10-$0.15 / ALTS.

I want to know if it is a good idea to invest in some so that I increase my stakes in the distributions. How often are these distributions? I can't say for sure if this is the right time to start buying ALTS, although I do know that good things take time, at the moment ALTS doesn't have any demand cause there are not much advertisers here, I think we need more people to start using this forum, cause if the amount of users here is much, advertisers will definitely want to buy the ad space on the forum, I know the forum is still growing its just a matter of time before the demand for ALTS will start coming.
