Cryptocurrency provides new useful opportunities for ordinary citizens, but it is of little interest to states and their governments. Governments are eyeing and benefiting from cryptocurrencies to improve their centralized currency. The future of cryptocurrency will largely depend on the attitude of states towards it, on how loyal and wise they will regulate it. However, it cannot be expected that cryptocurrency will ever take a dominant position in the financial sector. Cryptocurrency itself is not capable of this, and states will not allow it. That is, the cryptocurrency will simply occupy its own niche in the financial world and nothing more.
