The start of 2020 is a great time to look at the path travelled by cryptocurrencies up and down the price charts and analyze how these coins have been performing throughout the previous year. The prices of most cryptocurrencies changed tremendously throughout 2019, as the year started off slow but then saw most cryptocurrencies jump in value over the first six months.

However, some like Luna Coin (LUNA) exhibiting a considerable growth of 48,900%. Others, such as Lumen (XLM), lost more than half their price value and tumbled from the pedestal of crypto glory. 2019 was better than the previous year, but not good enough due to the fact that most altcoins continued to lie on the price bottom. From April 1, Bitcoin began to grow well and until the end of June grew at a price four times, reaching a price of $ 13,500. Were still just on first week of January and it seems some coins and tokens started to gain already. Take note on btc which is now trading above 8k levels. Meanwhile some alts are also keeping up such as eth, bch, xrp and other potential tokens that are launched since last year. I think investment wise btc is the biggest and fastest gainer and the safest of them all. So I think we should have btc as one of out biggest asset on our portfolio.
