US schools spy on students by installing tracking apps on their phones

The University of Missouri released a new policy that allows tracking students’ locations to keep an eye on their attendance. From now on, all new students must install a location-tracking app on their phones. Will this new system bring positive change and improve students’ participation? Or, considering it’s an age where concerns for privacy are at an all-time high, should this system be seen as invasive?

Things like that should be strictly prohibited cause in reality it only bring problems absolutely with all they have, I am not sure how students still allow such things on them. We need to move on further security issues like that.

On the one hand, this is good as attendance will increase, on the other hand, this is a restriction of the rights of freedom. Although our phones can tell us a lot about us.
