In April 2019, Toyota Blockchain Lab was introduced by the finance wing of Toyota Motor Corporation. The Toyota Blockchain Lab is testing blockchain’s potential for the past several months, and now the company is looking to extend the project’s impact across the company. The Blockchain Lab is looking to explore more opportunities. However, it will mainly be applied to the main departments. Toyota looking to boost its involvement in transportation as an ecosystem by becoming a “Mobility Company.”

Blockchain can be a very good financial system for any economical sectors. Govt or the company just doesn't try to adopt it because of the volatility of the crypto market. They just don't want to take the risk. But I think a major company like Toyota participant in the crypto world than it's obvious that other major company will also try to find a way to use it as their own advantages.
