But please, dont point on an "increase price = increase popularity" or "increase of investment = increase of popularity". Such things can easily happen without covid-19. The world adopt the technology ( blockchain ) not the product ( btc ), as long doesn't have law, crypto can be replacement anytime. COVID connect with economy and that is fiat, bitcoin is not solution but another way to keep survive. Bitcoin can for built business but domination still in fiat it will pass someday. I think the examples are more circumstantial. Covid forced people to stay home a lot. People staying home get bored, fast. There's only so much Netflix and chill you can do.
