Hive or Steem?
« on: April 16, 2020, 08:35:06 AM »
I think most of the cryptocurrency world know about what happened to steem, a fork of all the blockchain, now part of the community wants that steem users go to hive.
What are your thoughts?

Full post about it, if don't know what is happening:

It's not wrong to have some alternatives, the industry is not healthy without any competition because it has resulted into a monopoly, (*just an example) thats, why there's nothing wrong if Hive was here to challenged the original (Which is the STEEM) don't just look where they came from! because we all know that HIVE is just a fork of STEEM but the more important is the industry was still growing and expand thats matter to me other than something else.

The Steemit witness did this, they make this fork to get out of justin sun, but for me, they changed a censorship for another one, since is all the rules from the witness.

When Hive split, it copied the blockchain so that all content published on Steem would belong to Hive users again, except for Steemit Inc.'s balance. is currently controlled by Sun and its "ninja-mined stake" mode

Steem is a public blockchain largely released by Steemit, the company that runs the user interface that makes it the blockchain of bloggers. A group of developers chose to hard fork the blockchain and create new interfaces for it instead of continuing to grapple with Sun, which led to the formation of the current Hive blockchain.

Meanwhile, a lot of the main pillars of the community are turning to Hive, and token hodlers have begun making moves to exit their positions. Steem (and now Hive) works by using a delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus model, in which a relatively small number of nodes control the maximum power over what happens above. blockchain. Forks have led to some interesting things on blockchain. For example, any tokens staked on Steem are now staked on Hive

No disrespect, but you just copied and pasted someone elses comment under this section and reposted, it is wrong.
The forum is here to educate and guide us, and you need to offer your own view independently.

I think i will go for steem over hive, steem token has been dominant and with a huge marketcap and number of investors. Hive is still in progress
