Unusually, a license is issued in Iran for the extraction of a certain amount of bitcoins. If they want to control the consumption of a certain amount of electricity there, then it’s understandable. At the same time, in a country with such a hot climate like Iran, additional energy will be needed to cool Bitcoin mining equipment. Miners from China usually chose temperate countries, such as Canada and Belarus.

The Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade issued a permit for the Bitcoin mining company, iMiner based in Turkey to operate in the Semnan Province.  The large-scale mine reaches 6000 rigs, equivalent to 96 thousand tera hashes per second.

In Iran, a license is required to convert bitcoin to their country's currency. There is no agency in Iran. So things have gone awry. I think bitcoin mining equipment will heat up there. Because the equipment needs a cool environment to keep it in order. So miners usually choose temperate countries. It does not require any energy from outside.

Well, they must have considered all the scenarios and possibilities before doing the whole project. The government of Iran is doing all the necessary things inorder to minimize the impact of the economic sactions and they might view BTC mining as a good way for this goal.

7,300,000 USD is very big for Bitcoin mining and it is definitely possible that the Iranian Military will also protect things like this for the safety of their mining from attacking foreign countries.
I also see that this will make Iran's finances able to compete in the crytpocurrency market and maybe also passive income for their military.

But Iran is a conflict country, where Iran's KYC is always rejected for other exchanges, maybe there is definitely a solution if the one playing is the Bitcoin Mining Military.
retire and rest in peace

It seems to me that this is not entirely true information. Iran is very strict about cryptocurrencies. Could you provide additional proof to support Your claim? Of course if this is true then most likely we will see a parade of countries that will join mining

Apparently locals are concerned how smalltime miners will fare in these circumstances, but the government claims that  its licensing sector will ensure a fair environment for both small and big crypto mining firms. Time will tell, I guess.
