Justin Sun is just imitating Ethereum. To be honest, tron is like more on hype. fundamentally, ethereum leads the way and I am more excited about the ethereum 2.o than tron 4.0. Ethereum will be huge because of this upgrade plus the Defi projects behind it.

I don't think that Tron will overtake ETH with 4.0 version. ETH is still better and favorite in crypto users. I don't know about being young. At this point, almost everyone who knows Ethereum probably knows about Tron too. Unlike Vitalik, Justin has been really good at both good and bad publicity. I think it's the main reason why Tron rose to fame quickly.

I think developers prefer Ethereum to TRON because Ethereum was born before TRON, they got used to Ethereum earlier & it was difficult to change habits or start to learn a new platform. I am not much of a tron fan, I really don't use or believe in tron. ethereum has for long proved to be an exception and will always standout. i don't see tron as the ethereum counterpart because it cant beat it. tron thrives only on a particular part of countries basically in Asia while ethereum is well known and used in all countries
