Back in March 2020, Supreme Court of India lifted the banking ban imposed by the Reserve Bank of India on cryptocurrencies. It has been reported that Coinbase has emerged as one of the major crypto exchanges which have been offering crypto-to-crypto conversions and trading services across the nation. Even during this coronavirus pandemic, it has been seen that there has been a huge growth in crypto adoption.
CoinDCX has reported that as soon as the ban was lifted by the Supreme Court, there was a ten times increase in the number of users in just one week. Even though the ban has been lifted by the Supreme Court, several banks still denied supporting the crypto exchanges.
