Do we have mentions/notification bot available?

I wonder if we have mention/notification bot available on the forum?

I think everybody knows what I mean, every time when somebody uses your username or quote your posts, you get a notification from bot in PM. telegram or even website.

I have seen it on other forums and this is very useful tool which helps you track all activities we are involved on the forum, it helps in communication, discussions and overal forum growth.

Tried to search for one but could not find any and that is why I ask community for help, do we have such mention bot?

Of course, I know about notification button but this works only for topics and is little annoying because you have to log into the email first.

Watchlist would be a great addition if there is no bot already.

I think bots like that are very useful for knowing our activities in forums especially for those who reply to our posts or quotes, we can immediately respond or just read them. I think that's a good idea.

Exactly, a click of a button needed to track all important for you activities on the forum. Additionally very good tool for maintain communication because every time somebody mentions you or quotes you get notification, so there is no way to miss anything related to us.

Without such tool we are missing a lot of engagement between users on the forum, don't mention the time.

I support you, has this been discussed with the admin? btw whether if we reply in the telegram bot our post will be integrated in the forum?

Without such tool we are missing a lot of engagement between users on the forum, don't mention the time.

I think this bot is very important for admin and moderators to monitor forum activities such as spammers, suspicious accounts etc ... because bot directly provides automatic reports to our account. I support 100%

Of course Admin could be helpful, but i think that all depends from community.

An coder is needed to write such bot with notifications via Telegram or internal messaging here.

Yeah, how I wish we have the same notification bot here too. With the time I've spent here, I can't remember if I've talked to any developer.

I don't think that there's one but it will be cool if one can have such tool here. Maybe the admin can add it among the the features.

This is a great idea about the forum's notification bot and I always think for such facilities. If this notification bot is run for all types of activities, we will be very much helpful. We can know who has knocked me, who has mentioned me, who has replied my post etc. and we will be able o response instantly.

We need one member who have enough knowledge to put such bot together.

I hope if we keep this thread alive maybe one day somebody will find it and do it for us.

From what I have seen on other forums it is not so complicated and somebody with experience will be able to write such bot in relatively short time.

Then is little headache with all bugs but this is the beauty of such projects.

One thing think the forum is lacking to be honest. In similar forum, there is notification feature once there is mention, qoute or replies to a comment or topic you either posted or follow. Little things but they do matter and helpful to have them around in an increasing community.
