Yes! it's very important to be unique other than its use case, because if you settle to copy the existing projects will you have to face the competition badly since the market is already flooded with copycats crypto projects and your chances of survival are very low because in reality the crypto market was already saturated due to the influx of the new crypto projects that already existed.

Uniqueness is what sets you out from the rest of the dross. Believe me investors are tired of seeing the sane old project repeated time and time again. It's giving crypto a bad name. And most of the dross turn out to be scams anyway

It's like any other domain, you need to make it unique, to attract people & convince them to buy it. what's the point of making the same product that i already there sold by millions of people?
that's the key point of any business, real life or crypto, it has to be something unique, valuable, that has real value.

Fully uniqueness is desirable, but not required. It is enough to differ from similar projects in something significant that it would be beneficial to distinguish this project from others.

Although it is a pity that most of the projects we have now are not unique in their usage. Most of the projects are just fake. It is a shame. What makes your own project different from other people is the uniqueness of the cryptocurrency project because that's what gonna attract good investors and partners. But it's unfortunate that some individuals just create their own crypto projects just for fun end of the day such project are aboundoned because the project is not created to serve the crypto community.

I can agree with you, it must be unique and can survive to compete with others. Not only unique in concept, but a new project also need to be unique in idea or strategies to achive the goals. However, uniqueness cannot always determine the success of the projects in the future.

It's not only about uniqueness but also need to carry on mind to select best exchange to list because the price of a project really depend on which type of exchange team select. Also if any project team want to run bounty/airdrop, than it's best for them to select the well-reputated bounty manager and make limitation for participating in bounty. As a result, all things might go well and soon will be in the top, IMO.

It is not only about uniqueness but also for what the crypto is used. Better inf act right now, the project with a real use case in the world will have more chances to grow and accepted in the market. Of course, people will think again if the project is not clear, similar with others, and also not trusted.

No unique development could possibly means copycat from other team or unprofessional management who depends on other ideas and cheated them.
