It should hardly be considered that the price of ethereum is increasing due to the fact that this coin recently celebrated its 5th anniversary. Now there are quite a few other reasons for the growth of the ethereum price. Of course, the upcoming improvements to Ethereum 2.0 are of great importance. However, now the price of bitcoin is also growing and is pulling the entire cryptocurrency market up with it. It is also possible that many are starting to rescue their savings from the inflation of conventional currencies due to the impending global economic crisis. So there are quite a few objective reasons for the growth of the ethereum price.

Ethereum has just been waiting for the right time for it to really explode and considering the hotness of DeFi going on right now and the coming Eth 2.0, it was just a matter of time when Eth is picking up the speed.
