If Bitcoin can replace gold, there will be many negative effects, for example for a company that is currently a company whose main function is gold metal miners will stop operating and even gold craftsmen will not make gold crafts. And the most important thing for reality is there any of bitcoin craftsmen?Bitcoin can never replace gold. Can anyone imagine that people will give up gold and gold jewelry in order to have numbers and signs with a certain amount of bitcoin in their virtual wallet? And if it rises several times and then drops in price? No, gold has existed and will continue to exist as a measure of value, a store of value and a means of payment. It's too early for Bitcoin to match it. Ten years of its existence versus millennia of gold existence is nothing.

Do you think that Bitcoin will be able to replace Gold someday? As we shift into the "intangible" world, people will "ditch" physical stuff in exchange for digital items. Bitcoin can become the new digital Gold which serves as a safe-haven asset (store of value) in times of need. Thoughts?
In these times of turmoil, Gold is reaching new ATHs in price. But Bitcoin doesn't leave behind. With a limited supply of only 21 million coins, hardened security, and a focus on decentralization, Bitcoin is often viewed by many as the successor of Gold. One of Bitcoin's greatest benefits on top of Gold, is portability. You can virtually carry your Bitcoin with you safely when travelling, without anyone noticing. That's not the case with Gold, as you'd need to carry physical bullion with you. Other than portability, Gold and Bitcoin are very much alike.Do you think that Bitcoin will be able to replace Gold someday? Isn't bitcoin more valuable than gold right now?The day will come and bitcoin, the king of cryptocurrencies, will take over the role of gold in central banks. This is not so far away. There's a chance it might be in 10 years. Now most countries and people know what crypto is, what a coin is. I think those days are not far away.
No one can know for sure. But if you calculate the cost of mining gold and bitcoin, then I vote for BTC. If we compare the cost of storing and transporting gold and bitcoin, then I am on the side of BTC and if we are fighting to save money, then the choice is obvious, it just takes time for everyone to get used to it.

That being said, to me it's just a matter of time before the market cap of bitcoin will reach, and then exceed, that of gold.
Gold is gold, and Bitcoin is Bitcoin, I support Bitcoin since 2016, but I think gold will remain important. Why do people always say that Bitcoin is gold, bitcoin is silver, bitcoin is the new store of value... etc Bitcoin is Bitcoin guys...
