you hold it forever and it will become useless. I think it not about holding, it just about timing to when you could sell your token. maybe an hour after you bought it you sell because it's profitable already. traders sometimes sell their coin a few minutes after they bought it.

From my experience, I can say that not all coins can be left for long-term holding. A lot of coins after they fell in price, no longer rose and it is pointless to buy them. I agree that coins from the top 10-20 will be suitable for holding .

Basically i am agree about holding rather i want to make investment. There two opportunities like i can gather experience of trading or investing into market and there is great chance to gain profit. but if you oinly hold your tokens you are out of those two benefits. But you can hold tokens when market if full down and team will give update in recently for up of their tokens otherwise you should not hold your tokens

IF you are not holding BITCOIN and ethereum, the fact  that most altcoins seem today will faze out in the next 3 to 5 years. the better option of holding should only be between bitcoin and ethereum. Or you can add litcoin and ADA to your portfolio. cryptocurrency is volatile and most coins/token will have no utilization soon. better platforms will be adopted just like people has adopted uniswap exchange more than centralized exchange.

I used to store coins and it didn't bring me any profit. I was in the red. Therefore, now when an altcoin appears, I immediately sell it at the market price.

In my thought to be more exact for cryptocurrency is exchanging so it's not fair holding back. When the cost is rising radically why not offer it? the reason of exchanging is to offer when the cost goes up and purchase or hold when the cost goes down.
