One, I don't think YFI would get the that target. There's so much competition in the crypto DeFi world now for one project to steal all the shine. Two, it's not the fastest crypto to make a x100. Check out other projects like Hex, Capp etc

Hodlers of YFI should be careful because it rose too quickly. You know what's going to happen when something went so high so fast. The higher you get, the harder you will fall. Just a warning though because you can't trust no one but thyself.

The thing about this is that how loyal is the community because we all know that there would be a time that the price would be attractive to sell and if the price equals that of BTC then I can see some people looking to dump their tokens and move to BTC and that could trigger the sell off, because any serious investor would have entry and exit strategy IMO

DeFi tokens are surging hot right now, but I don't imagine any of them possibly reaching the same price point as what Bitcoin has achieved, even BTC is struggling to get to that point now.

I'm looking into DeFi tokens for investment too, together with coins that are being backed up by major projects, for example is XYM from NEM. Them being a top 30 coin, its most likely to follow the same success.

I am not surprised so much with the rise of YFI considering its very limited number of coins on the market and the bullish sentiment on the DeFi projects right now. Still, one should be careful in getting into Yearn.Finance at this juncture though if one is very much loving with risks and big rewards then this can be a good gamble. I just felt that I am not really lucky in picking up projects that can really boom and lucky are those who got into YFI at the early stage. Weeks ago when I was look at its $1000+ price I was already surprised...who would have thought that it can make bigger moves and even defeat Bitcoin (though of course BTC has undefeatable marketcap).

As soon as this faith runs out, correction will begin, and for some of the least quality projects, it will happen even earlier, just as YAM fell after the bug was found in their code.

Yeah. looks like DeFi is being hunted by investors right now. the price is fantastic. Only with a supply of 30,000, the market demand increased. I think the price could increase much more.

I totally agree with you on this. Many Defi projects will fall hard and when this happened, Defi world will crash and many will regret over hyping Defi projects. Many are just investing blindly now because they want to make 100x in few days. I hope someone can be careful.

Ha ha it broke all the record and hit a new ATH in crypto history. I don not know why peoples are investing heavily there are what is so special about that project. May be it is just its low supply that push the price so much. It clearly shows how volatile and profitable crypto can be. It makes some investors rice by few days.

very risky investing in yearn.finance when the price is bulls like it is today.  yearn.finance is a pure bubble, and for sure the price will fall in the next few weeks..

I don't know for sure what makes YFI's price so high, maybe because the total supply is only 30,000 or only because YFI is based on the DeFi project.  Now the YFI price is $ 29,049 on the Coinmarketcap list.
