I do not underestimate about the DeFi projects because some of them really give very great progress and also projects., But, there is a hug increasing project of DeFi that is offered. So, will it be okay? or like previous ICO or IEO hype? just be sure that we do not only follow the hype but also the analysis.

defi hype really attracting new investors to invest on their project. specific to YFI I will not waste my money on it now because price is too high and investing maybe too risky .  there are many defi project right now so I better move my interest to this coins because it might be next to YFI hype in the future.

At the beginning of DeFi, the projects were successful in such a way that DeFi would be the market capitalization. But at present the price of defi coin has started to go down. Early reigns began, the value of coins that could not be imagined. So I think defi projectors should be priced. YFI prices should be maintained. But prices are falling. The market will change, that's normal.

Now the price of the YFI token has dropped to $ 22,802.  It dropped to 29th position in the CoinMarketCap table because its capitalization dropped to $ 683 million, although it was just over a billion dollars recently.  I think this is quite normal, since the YFI token does not represent significant value.  This is only a management token, its price cannot be so cosmic.  The project was too bloated, now it is bouncing back.

I agree that it's important to not just follow the hype but be smart about it. I too am a little wary about it all, I don't know if this constant influx of new coins is sustainable, especially with the scams that pop their heads up from time to time.

The Hype is already subsided thats why there's no more Defi token rally anymore, in fact, most of Defi tokens price is slowly going down lately including YFI, UNI, DIA and some other, I believe its because the investors are slowly moving out in some Defi tokens after some investors posted their huge losses in social media platforms particularly in twitter I strongly believe that the risk is high in all Defi projects compare to the existing cryptocurrencies, like BTC, ETH, LTC, and other top-ranking coins.
