Most Anticipated ETH 2.0 and High Transaction Fee

Everyone has been talking about the much anticipated ETH 2.0 and how it
will put an end to the high transaction fees which is currently one of the major problems on Ethereum blockchain.

My question now is , what happens if ETH 2.0 fails to put an end to the high fees ?? would this mean the Death or partial death of ether?

The ethereum network now has a scalability of about 15 transactions per second, while bitcoin has about seven transactions. With the lowest bandwidth, Bitcoin is nevertheless considered the leader in cryptocurrency.
The low scalability of ethereum is a major obstacle to the further development of this network. I don't think we won't see an increase in ethereum scalability after the implementation of the Ethereum 2.0 improvements. I am sure that many testing are being done before the team of Vitalik Buterin will ever allow the full deployment of the Ethereum 2.0 so they already are sure that things can be working just fine once it starts flying. Of course, along the way there can be some problems but those can be sorted out at the end. I have full confidence on Ethereum 2.0 which can hopefully minimize the problem of exorbitant gas fees in the network. And I know Ethereum developers are constantly working to make things as they should be. I am already looking forward to Ethereum 2.0 and I am hoping that Bitcoin will also be serious solving its scalability problem.

That is actually possible. There is no perfect blockchain where all aspect could be 100% efficient. Now eth 2.0 is designed to migrate on PoS staking, hence there are some instances that the network would be faster and in terms of scalability they will probably improved a lot. High fees are due to heavily usage of network and that attributes not only to the network but also on other project dapps.

Ethereum 2.0 improvements have been tested for a long time and after a while they will definitely be implemented. While different times are called for this. Earlier they talked about October and November, they also called the end of the year or even the beginning of the next. Vitaly Buterin wants to do it anyway this year. Therefore, I do not even admit the thought that Ethereum 2.0 will fail.

I think everybody is waiting for eth 2.0 because it has been promised to run for a long time, but it is still not running, I think the problem with expensive transactions will be solved there.

If there really is a failure with ethereum 2.0, then I'm sure there will be a lot of people down. There could even be a massive sale of ethereum. And this is very risky for ethereum. But the chances of success are very high. And of course ethereum 2.0 was created to provide solutions, not provide new problems.
