Are crypto bounties still worth participating in?

Hey guys,have been meaning to ask this question for a long time now, are crypto bounties becoming worthless?, cus I don't know why they are so many scam bounties these days, I participated in clipx bounty on bitcointalk hosted by bounty detectives, and after the bounty campaign ended, clipx team asked every participant to do kyc,thankfully I was pretty busy that week and forgot to do the kyc and it passed the deadline date for the kyc, after 3days I visited bounty detectives telegram group and saw that after clipx project has been discontinued, wait why would they ask for kyc when they know fully well that they aren't gonna continue with the project? Sadly alot of bounty hunters did the kyc, and passed it, and the clipx team claimed that they have deleted all the kyc information, but I think that's a lie because they know how valuable it is on the dark web, there's no way they are going to throw away all those information, I think the campaign was owned by scammers and they just needed those kyc's, what do you think?

That is another way for scammers to get people's information without stress if I most add. I think for Bounty projects that request KYCs now is just not my thing and the sad part is that this will only happen after the work has been done and hunters would not like to lose their earnings hence most will be forced to do this KYC. They know if this was put forth in the beginning hunters will not participate. Sad.

When we invest in cryptocurrencies or spend our time and energy for participating in crypto bounty campaigns, we must understand that we are acting "at our own peril and risk." Therefore, you must always weigh your perceived benefits against the possibility of being deceived. Moreover, we should not transfer our personal data to dubious projects.

It is actually a sad situation but hunters must move. Bounties are still very ok for participations because there still are good bounties that bring huge profits.

Can you name any bounty that brought you huge profit?

May I mention few of them that landed here with good return for hunters...

1: Maybe Hex bounty payment managed by BD is still good experience for hunters that belong to lucky participants.
2: DIA and CARTESI managed by Bubbalex.
3: The recent bounty BEYOND PROTOCOL managed by Yahoo 62278.

I'd didn't participated them all but these were some of the profitable bounties here in our forum.

I am familiar only with DIA and Cartesi, as I've participated in them also. But that was in 2020 if not mistaken. Hex bounty - never heard of that. Were the rewards good? Hunters must have a lot of luck to get in first line to join in BD campaigns. Beyond Protocol - I've heard that, but somehow this bounty slipped away from me. Was it profitable also? Can you give some numbers please?

I say yes, but we must really make which Crypto project selection we will follow. Because of being admitted or not, now there are many Bounty projects that are scam. Where it will only make us disappointed, because we have worked hard to play but it doesn't produce anything. My advice is to do a real job everyday and use this bounty just as a side job.

One of the means of avoiding such bounty scam is to do a thorough research about the project, starting from their white paper, their team and developers, roadmap, what solution is the project bring to crypto ecosystem?  and prompt responses from their admin in their social media handle especially Telegram, these are some salient facts that need to be established first before joining some boundies unfortunately a lot of hunters don't bother to do needful but join bounties blindly and at the end get scammed.

When ClipX has to do KYC at the end of the campaign & requires members to register, I immediately skip it. ClipX project suddenly changed the rules, made me suspicious. It was true that this project failed. Therefore always be careful

I really don't understand why project team do this with the bounty hunter. In fact, they should run under a specific way , like before they launch their bounty, they should tell us we need to pass kYC  in order to get reward. But what they do? They ask us to pass their kyc when distribution time come.

That's right, we have a lot to research before joining the Bounty Project.  I admit that I myself am not very good at researching whether a Bounty project is good or not, because it is not uncommon for a Bounty project to have a white paper and a good team, but in the end the project fails too.  About the many bounty hunters who blindly follow the bounty project, maybe they are ready with all the risks that will be accepted.

Yeah, I think escrow is the best way to reduce scam bounties.
But should escrow in stable coins or top coins.
Because If escrow in new coins, I think It will be shit coins.

Sadly enough, that is the situation we find ourselves in crypto. As crypto gets more profitable, more scam projects would join in just to take a piece of the pie. I was amongst the unlucky souls that sent their details in that ClipX bounty. Goodness knows what's happening to it now

Fortunately so, we still have good bounties that still payout and a good amount too. Of cause, there are lots of scam bounties in the system as always. Recently got about a $1000 from Beyond Protocol bounty I participated in, got a good amount from Sovryn, and many other bounties too. I most agree about the useless bounties that never mention KYC until it is all done and they start requesting for hunters to do KYC and worse of is them taken off after the KYC is done.
When you talk of escrow to be sure that the tokens are in BMs wallet to be paid, what happens if after they get what they want as usual even with the escrow they dump the project without listing? what good are tokens in your wallet from a dead project? There's a lot that could be suggested to curb scammers but it still won't solve the problem and as for me, as long as bounties are concerned, you win some you lose some.

I find bounties as a lottery, where the only resource you invest is time. Due to me doing bounties parallel other tasks, time is not so much important (I could spend it watching youtube instead for example). That is why I still doing bounties. Bounties are addiction to my salary. That is why even if I get 1$, that is still more than zero, that is still worth spending my time.

Yes, it's still worth joining. KYC is just irritating when asked lately to claim the coins. Honestly speaking I lost 4-5 times my coins due to the KYC not being done. When we know a project is failed so there is no use in doing KYC because we all know data can be sold easily. But there are still many bounties that are paying and we should always prepare for such projects that are scammed or fail. In the past 4 years, I learned worrying does not get anything, this is what I have learned and we should move forward.

Until now the bounty campaign can still produce even though the results are not too much but it can still be used for additional income that can be used to buy necessities of life so that you can stay alive and can eat, at least you have to be active when participating in the bounty campaign because if you don't active then there will be no good results.

although sometimes the results are not as satisfying as before. To fill my spare time, I still participate in several bounty campaigns by choosing the escrow system in it to seek luck
