Yes, Link is a Defi token. Also certain numbers of tokens that are built on the etheruem networks are Defi tokens. DeFi tokens are the foundation of the decentralized ecosystem. They are used primarily in decentralized applications running on smart contracts for facilitating different transactions
LINK is built on Ethereum in accordance with the ERC-20 standard for tokens. It can be bought and sold for fiat currency or other digital currencies.

Chainlink an oracle platform that use to connect blockchain to outside data is called defi by some people because its services is used by top defi platforms today like YFI, AAVE, also Link can be use to staking and earn link as rewards so I think it can be considered as defi.

MetaverseME is a fantastic project, in my opinion, because the virtual reality universe it provides is well-equipped and has a libertarian structure. I believe it is a metaverse project that will be much more successful with a few additions.

DeFi projects need oracle service from ChainLink, we can consider LINK as an important token in DeFi. Apart from CEX and investment funds, the entire crypto market is DeFi, of course LINK is part of the DeFi market and trend.
