Is this the new style of crypto scam?

Hey guys, i was just scrolling through Twitter a few days ago, then i found an airdrop  it looked quite promising, so i decided to give it a try,  i fulfilled all the airdrop requirements, and was waiting patiently for the airdrop distribution which was supposed to take place yesterday,  on reaching yesterday, I went on telegram to see how well the project is growing and because they promised to list on uniswap that same yesterday, when I got to their telegram channel, i started seeing something fishy, like they told us to fill another form for a giveaway, when I clicked the link to the form, the requirements  On the Google form is something else, they were asking for our trust wallet Recovery phrase.

Those are the screenshots of the Google form, immediately I saw the recovery phrase, it was clear that it was a scam, it seems like everyday scammers keep bring new ideas and ways to exploit and steal crypto from people, we should be really careful and guide our crypto well, and try not to fall for for scams like this .

Nowadays, there are more and more ways that scammers can cheat. And this teaches us to be wiser and more careful in choosing projects. The more crowded this forum, of course, makes more scams occur.

I stopped participating on airdrop since they no longer have value and most of the time, they don't pay, you can participate on legit ones from Airdrop detectives.
You have to be careful when some project offer airdrop, there are many of them in this space with scam tactics, they knew airdrop members don't really have knowledge about cryptocurrency that's why they used this tactics to fraud and prey on innocent people.
By the way, why don't you just try Bounty, they are more profitable than airdrop though it will require a little of your time.

Asking a recovery phrase or a seed it's obviously a scam. We really should careful when joining airdrop and also we should not submit a KYC for just airdrop only, it's not worthy.

The reason for the new style crypto scandal is that as the demand for crypto grows, so does the number of scams. Also, many people come to crypto out of greed and are forced to scam later and later without knowing anything. It is better to stay away from these victims.

Enticing people to share their private keys is as old as many ICOs in 2017, and I am really puzzled because there are still some people who can be victimized with this scam technique. I am so sure that they are victimizing new people into cryptocurrency as those of us who are already here since 2016 or 2017 know what they are doing. I am hoping that people will really be educated never ever to share their private or recovery phrase as that means losing control over one's account or wallet. Maybe we should suggest to wallet platforms to make a big emphasis this thing when someone is opening an account in their platforms...they should be the one educating their users.

There are a lot of airdrop scams in my opinion, there are various ways they cheat, from asking for prhase to sending eth, trx, doge on the grounds of a fee, one friend said if one airdrop asks for a fee leave them it ,cos they are must be a scam project,

Thanks for sharing your experience. Since the uniswap airdrop, many scammers have taken advantage of the situation to organize fake airdrops. We just need to be cautious of the kind of airdrops we participate in. There are equally good and genuine  opportunities to earn passively with the little funds one has, personally    I earn a good APR up to 23% by staking $AWC on my desktop wallet from atomicwallet.io

Crypto space is full of scam, that is why wemust be careful at all time. We should not open any link that we are not so sure about because it can be very dangerous especially if we are having our wallet on the device we are trying to open the link on. Scammers are everywhere and they are not resting, always s looking for a new way to take away people's assets. Don't give your wallet phrase to anybody irrespective of who the person is.

In my experience i see 99% airdops are conducted by the scammers for this reason i am not interest to join any new airdop. It is just start for increasing social media followers other wise nothing and some airdop asking to fill-up kyc form. So i suggest that to avoid airdop especially those are required kyc.

We really have to be careful in following Airdrop at this time, because they are good at trapping us so we don't realize we have provided our personal information.  So that they can easily drain our assets, in this Cryptocurrency there are indeed tremendous scammers and have various ways to steal our assets.  And again we don't like opening links that are usually sent to us via Email, that's also very dangerous.

That was obviously a scam attempt mate, You were lucky that you notice it early and not falling under the spill of the $35K reward as a bait prize, I hope that there will be no single airdrop hunters was fell for that trap, in that fake Leo Finance airdrop next time don't just easily join to any airdrops just make some confirmation first preferably ask the in their Telegram Group.

Of course it's a scam, you need to be careful if you want to join airdrop especially if it's offer you big cash. Airdrop is free so i give you some tips here : Don't give your private key, don't pay anything, and do research before join.

Thats the way it has always been, there will always be the good guys and the bad guys, there will always be people who want to bend the law and vice versa, it's just humans doing their thing,hope you know there are also scammers who steal the traditional fiat, so they are just everywhere, they don't want to work for their own money, they prefer to steal, "reap from where they didn't sow".
