Will ethereum overtake Bitcoin?

Ethereum still finds it difficult to overtake Bitcoin because Bitcoin feels superior to Ethereum, perhaps also due to its limited and limited supply, in contrast to Ethereum which has an unlimited supply.
As long as Ethereum can still be mined, Ethereum continues to increase its supply and until whenever Ethereum continues to rise, it is different from Bitcoin which has a supply of 21 million coins.

I think Ethereum never overcome bitcoin at all because all countries are directly or indirectly deal with bitcoin not with Ethereum. Ethereum can create by smart contract but bitcoin can't create by smart contract. It's has limited supply only 17 million ( excluding satoshi nakamotu wallet).

So far what I know about cryptocurrencies all coins have different specifications and nothing is the same, like bitcoin and ethereum were created before bitcoin rather than ethereum, the supply of these two coins is also very different so it's definitely impossible if ethereum beats bitcoin because of supply more ethereum but less demand makes ethereum difficult to beat bitcoin.

I never thought Etherium would ever be able to surpass Bitcoin to go to the top.That would be easy to understand if everyone looked at the current market value of Bitcoin and Etherium.Although Ethereum and Bitcoin are side by side, there are many differences between these two coins in terms of price and even in terms of popularity.Bitcoin is the best coin for me.

To me, BTC has always been the king of the crypto market. Currently the market cycle depends on the Halving cycle, so if ETH surpasses BTC, we will not be able to identify the bull season, everything will be very complicated to get a profit from crypto. So even though I like ETH more, I still hope BTC keeps the top 1.

Ethereum also very popular cryptocurrency platform but  not more  popular than Bitcoin. I think Ethereum never covered Bitcoin popularity. Specially Bitcoin just a familiar name all over the world and most of the countries are known with Bitcoin.

Absolutely not possible in my opinion. Bitcoin is the king of all crypto and being the first coin, it has gain a lot of popularity since 10years ago. I personally think that Bitcoin is irreplaceable or overtaken by other altcoins, and not ethereum or any of of it's Defi tokens. Bitcoin drives the crypto market and will be extremely difficult to be replace by any coins/token. A king remains a king.

We think it will never be possible for Ethereum to overtake Bitcoin in the future. Because the price of Bitcoin has already pumped the most and its price is in the first place compared to all the coins of cryptocurrency. In my opinion Ethereum will never overtake Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. All altcoins including ethereum follows bitcoin. Bitcoin keep it number one position from the very beginning. In the crypto market, if bitcoin is pumped, then altcoin is pumped, and if bitcoin is dumped, then all altcoin is dumped. So the existence of coins other than Bitcoin is unthinkable.

Nothing is impossible, Ethereum can overtake Bitcoin in theory. But I agree that it will be difficult to overtake it, Bitcoin has the power to survive as the king of all crypto. Bitcoin is still the most favorite crypto coin right now, people prioritize buying and holding Bitcoin for their future assets. If this continues, Bitcoin is still in the first place of cryptocurrencies and it will be hard to overtake.

No need to overthrow Bitcoin just to prove that you are a King.  Yes, Ethereum might not overtake bitcoin but when it comes to importance I think Ethereum are almost equal to Bitcoin. Ethereum blockchain is becomes a home of start up crypto projects. But healthy competition is always  good.

Before asking such a question you must know that Ethereum is but dependent on the selling price. That is, as the value of bitcoins increases, so does the value of etherium. Since Ethereum is directly dependent on Bitcoin, it is never possible for Ethereum to surpass Bitcoin. However, if Ethereum is never dependent on Bitcoin, then maybe the issue can be considered.
