United has been quite active on the transfer window, got Obi Martin now, a very talented young player who could be third string for now, but could work very well since they are considering both Hojlund and Zirkzee together in many games. I think with Mazraoui deal almost done, they are just trying to sell some players next up. They are planning on selling Mctominay, and Wan Bissaka and if Yoro is not injured for too long, they may actually sell Maguire as well, because they are looking into another defender as well. All of this looks quite good, on top of that they are planning on getting a new stadium as well, which could be quite nice.

The final score of this match was a 2-2 draw. Looking at the game, both teams played equally well and they made many strategy changes with many players being withdrawn. Indeed, their pre-season match focus was not winning but seeing how they prepared for the real season.

I myself did not expect anything or expect either of them to win, because from the start this was just their preparation match for the new season.

Super Jack Grealish cranking up the heat, Grealish scores. He is on fire!
He is the best player on and off the pitch, I have so much respect for this man, no what team he's on, though I'm glad he's on City.
I hope he catches his form this new season.

Barcelona played well with the La Masia players. City needs to get back the full squad now. The Citizens' performance in the pre-season matches was not good.
Jack Grealish is indeed a reliable player in the Manchester City squad and in this pre-season match he was able to get his name on the scoreboard and play well too.

I hope this is a sign that he will be able to perform very well next season and contribute to Manchester City's game. Overall, there are actually no significant changes from Manchester City, because they are also mostly still with the same players.

Meanwhile, in the pre-season match between Premier League clubs, Arsenal lost to Liverpool and Crystal Palace managed to win the match against Wolves. And tomorrow there are 3 matches, namely

- Borussia Monchengladbach vs Ipswich,
- Fulham vs Benfica,
- Nott'm Forest vs Villarreal.

£30k weekly on a 16-year-old, hope he doesn't become another Greenwood

Signing him is one thing but how to use him is another thing entirely
Obi Martin is a youngster playing U18 and looks promising, but the key is how good the players in the team are to provide, and in the senior team, the skill ceiling is much higher, so it's a gamble at that salary.
I don't want to underestimate him, we will see this season how that goes and conclude. Time will tell

Grealish and Doku will be in heavy competition for that position, But based on experience and what Jack Grealish can offer to the team I think that Pep will make him be the start player and then Jeremy Doku be the replacement for him as substitute in games where they need a breaker and way through defenses. Although they already have a few players, but Manchester City can do without buying any player in this transfer window because the players they have from last season are still enough to help them win all the competitions that they are in this season.

It's interesting to know that there was an interesting friendly match played today that had some clubs like Chelsea have their first win match of their friendly after having a draw and lost match played.

However, the win and loss match played so far in this friendly tournament has nothing much to judge the capability of a team because you can believe with me that the matches are not to be taken serious because of having injuries in the field of play and not the first eleven of a team is being featured in the friendly match.

It makes sense that Barcelona won the penalty shootout. After checking the list of penalty takers.

Hmm, maybe it's because of the readiness of the penalty takers, that's why Barcelona is far superior. Yes, because some of Man City's main players were withdrawn early on, so there are only a few players who are not really top players. But this doesn't matter, after all, this is also a mixed season. If it was a UCL match, it could be a different story because Man City would definitely be really optimal and include their main players until the end. But on the other hand, Barcelona has also tried very well, and they are quite solid this time.

I think aside from ETH, their movement has been good on paper so far. Man United has one of the most loyal club fans and they probably deserve the best treatment like the new stadium and promising players.

Jack Grealish get difficult with regular position in this season after signing Doku but its not problem because Pep Guardiola never guarantee with one players always get regular position. Last several pre season matches, Jack Grealish got regular position and keep playing well to secure his regular position for next season.
I don't sure Pep Guardiola will sign new players for next season exactly with attacking position, they have many top forward players right now and seems linked with Dani Olmo but the management of Citizen not official announce yet for signing him.
Manchester City keep get consistent performance even not signing many top qualities players in last season, success won Premier League is proof for Pep with current their squad.

Or Pep Guardiola will rotate so that he plays both at the same time, because Pepp Guardiola has that ability, only the player must be able to work hard to get his position even though he plays in a different position.

There are many very good players at Manchester City, so that will make their competition tight internally, and that has a very good impact on a player because they are required to be able to play as well as possible.

Winning and losing are not a priority in a friendly match. because the whole team just wanted to test and observe some of their new players on the field directly. So the strategy used is sometimes not the actual strategy that will be a mainstay in the actual season. But still, it's always fun to watch matches when the season hasn't started yet, just to fill our time when we're bored waiting for the season to actually start.

Arsenal's management habit is to give their coaches a very long chance, including Mikel Arteta. If they can't wait for developments, what happens is what we see at Chelsea, which changes coaches almost every season.

The reason is, if we look at the beginning of Arteta's coaching, if Arsenal wanted, they could have fired him in a short time. However, they appreciate the process that has been passed, so they have reached this point.
It is good habit that Arsenal board wants to keep the coach for a long time. Arteta also deserves to get a lot of chances because he can show the proof of improvement. In the last 2 seasons, Arsenal can compete for the trophy, they even almost won the trophy. Arsenal also must be proud because Arteta can develop an academy player like Bukayo Saka. Arteta also use the funds effectively, he bought young players with reasonable prices. Yes, it is very different with Chelsea because they often buy players with overpriced (too expensive).

Arsenal boards know well Arteta. That's why they let him staying in Arsenal for many years although Arteta still can't win EPL trophy and other prestigious trophies.

Yoro out for 3 months
Hojlund out for 6 weeks
Rashford is not badly injured but he might miss a few weeks.

These are the main players should they get injured then the other option might be to look for other alternatives in the transfer window before it closes, I'm not sure what the other names will be but there will be a lot of links with Manchester United.

Penalty kicks always provide their own mental pressure in any match. This is not only related to skill but also related to mental readiness as the executor because in any case, he becomes the center of attention during the kick process. This becomes more pressure.

However, from here, at least, the coaches can assess which players will be strong enough or ready to become penalty kick executors at crucial moments. So this can be a good enough experience and attention for evaluation.

Well, once again, this cannot be a 100% reference that this club is much better/worse than that club because they won/lost in the pre-season match.
