Chelsea poor performance has nothing to do with luck, instead the team lacks not having a coordinated team players and coach that understand one another.

The continual signing of new coach and the steady signing and selling of Chelsea players every transfer window is affecting the team to progress to a better height. A team like Chelsea can't operate in such move and expect to see a good result at the end of a season. It will be poor and good performance the team will be experiencing from time to time, blaming the coach for all that not the management for their poor decision of sacking the coach and selling some key players of the team

I agree with you in the above statement, I don't understand what a football project is like for Chelsea to construct.
Regardless of how Mauricio Pochettino's squad played last season, Chelsea's biggest mistake will be firing him.

From Graham potter down to Lampard, down to Pochettino, they spoilt everything from beginning. Each of them bought players that weren't too effective to the team, the worst of them was Enzo Fernandez they bought for whooping $100m and hasn't win any trophy since he came to Chelsea, sometime I feel ashame for them as a tea.

I hope Maresca will do more wonders this season to bring out the best from the team. I can see they are gearing up already with the Europa Conference league, they should do the same in Premier League to stay above top of the table.

But we can't draw any conclusions regarding these two teams considering that the season has just started and we can't draw conclusions from just one or two matches. The management thinks that winning a league with a deform team is very easy without working on the team and improving their performance. That was what Pocchetino did and he was having a good result close to the end of the season. He has already understand the players strength and weaknesses which would have made him improve the club performance this season. But he was not given a second chance because he did not finish on top four when he is not a magician because to win is not magical.

I would like to see both teams battle for control at the middle (midfield) but it seems it's going to be Brighton pushing forward while Man United luring them inside their half to counter-attack. MU defenders will most likely lock Wellbeck who must still be feeling confident after his good performance last week.

Yup, I think it's likely that Arsenal might lose some points tomorrow.
Villa was really strong last season and surprisingly finished on 4th place. Although they didn't look spectacularly good in their friendly matches, they defeated West Ham in an away game in the opening round. That was a well-deserved win and they could've scored much more than two goals.

Let's see whether Enzo will be better than Pochettino, to last up to the five-year contract given to him.

All the past coach of Chelsea under the Tod Boehly management was given long-year contracts to be heading Chelsea as coach; none of them stayed up to the agreed year before sacking them.

Although that is not enough data to judge any of the teams, but this weekend we stay it all when Manchester United will face Brighton. Knowing that Brighton is more offensive in attack will give Manchester United problem in the whole match. This is to say that Manchester United will be very careful because they will first struggle not to concede any goal and secondly try to score some goals. This is not a small feet for an inconsistent Manchester United.

Many of Benfica's expensive players have faded with their new clubs, and Enzo Fernandez is one of them.
And there was a funny phenomenon when Chelsea was coached by Pochettino, along with the absence of Enzo Fernandez due to hernia surgery, Chelsea's performance improved. lol

When a team is in a slump, they inevitably have to go through a process that will make them better in the future. It will be very difficult or even impossible if they want to achieve instant achievements with their condition like that.

It is like Manchester united have started again with disappointment because I don't believe that they will get defeated by Brighton just like that. They couldn't not even fight for draw and that is what is annoying me. Ten Hag should be in his best to improve these players because the management have helped him with what he needs and he came up with a poor performance in the second match of the season. I hope that Ten Hag knows what he is doing.
